So whats the most likely track list for Chinese Democracy ?

                              Theres been a lot of discussion on how many tracks Chinese Democracy will be and whats the most likely track list. So as a fan of Guns n Roses lets run down the likely tunes that we know of.

Blues, Better, TWAT are the only defs (Axl said they were his fav tracks from Chinese Democracy in Jan 06) but Id say that IRS, CD and Madagascar are almost certainly on there.

The rest is just speculation (including what I just said in the second part of the sentence).

the sanctuary press release stated that he played 6 songs from CD at hammerstein, and then listed IRS, Better, There Was a Time, Madagascar, Chinese Democracy, and The Blues

so it is a safe bet that these are on there. also Axl has said on several occasions that the cd is 13 tracks. we know six, the other seven is anyones guess, but i dont think catcher in the rye is on it. he didnt sound to confident about that one on the trunk show.

I'm still confused as to why Merck would make a point of pegging IRS as "not even in the top 10 best songs" on the album - It just seems like an odd remark. I don't like the song, but it's still a strange thing for him to say.

The general consensus seems to be that it is indeed real. ?I am questioning whether or not that is the real title though because it sounds kinda corny, but if the song is great the title really doesn't matter all that much I guess.

Thats so strange. I have had that exact same dream.
And also when I was 12 (10 years ago) I had a dream that a new GN'R cd was out but the cover of it was the helmet of the red ranger from the power rangers, and the songs were unheard of to.
But I think I dreamed that coz that year the Power rangers movie soundtrack came out with matt on drums for the power rangers band playin the power rangers theme song.

Someone on line outside of Hammerstein that I met on May 12th told me Catcher wasn't going to be on CD, but on the album to follow. He seemed pretty sure. Personally, I'm not anxious for an album to follow Chinese Democracy because it's taken this long for Chinese Democracy to come out. I'd love to see a revised version of Catcher on Chinese Democracy. The demo is a bit sloppy in my opinion, but amazing never the less. A song that def. deserves more attention

Didn't Buckethead play the theme to that?

I quite like Catcher in the Rye it's a good song and would probably fit well on CD.

We know these 6 are going to be on the album, the press release stated that very clearly when they said they were playing almost half the songs from the chinese democracy album live.

I think that 'Catcher in the Rye' is a decent song, but I hope there are 7 songs other than that filling up the rest of the cd. That song is OK, but I would be content with it staying a demo. I want to hear 7 songs I haven't heard yet to complete the album.
