Taylor Hicks Wins American Idol.

...Taylor's a true entertainer.  McFee's a pretty face, a nice set of ta-ta's, and a personality that comes off as forced, artificial and manufactured.  McFee was the Ivan Drago to Taylor's Rocky.  She was the one trained at a fancy conservatory...he is the self-trained artist.  She was the spoiled little rich girl...he can identify with the work-a-day Joe.

Taylor Hicks...congratulations!!!

Honestly, Mcphee sings much better. I was originally a fan of Taylor Hicks, but his schtick grew tiresome. Mcphee definitely has more talent. I figured Hicks would've fallen on the wayside with Pickler (who started out in a sweet innocent way but became very annoying). It really is a shame that Daughtry got voted off, he was better than all of them. Plus I thought he would've got the female vote, I read an article a couple weeks ago that said that 72% of the people that vote are female. It also amazes me that Bucky Covington made it so far. That really annoyed me, he lives about 30-40 miles south of me and all the attention he received around here was sickening.

Had a feeling he would win. ?He is a great show man up on stage, compared to the stiffs in the competition.

I watch this program from time to time. ?I tunned in last night, just before the winner was annouced, when they were both singing some duet together. ?Hicks outshone McPhee by a long shot.

Glad he won.

Did anyone watch the entire show last night?  I fast forwarded through most of it.  But that guy that thought he was Clay Aiken was hilarious.  And Clay Aiken looked kind of odd, didn't he?

I gave up watching the show when Chris was voted off.  I wasn't a particular fan of any of the remaining contestants.

I am a bit surprised that McTa-Ta's didn't win.  That rack alone (and the way the wardrobe people dressed it...yes IT..those things were like their own contestants) I thought would garner enough votes to carry her through.

Taylor seems nice....in a bar room bluesy "The Commitments" kinda way.  But marketing the guy is gonna be murder for them.

I heard Daughtrey did a song with Live...if anyone sees that up on youtube, or has sees it for download somewhere, I wouldn't mind seeing that.

I DID catch the Prince performance, during one of the "Lost" commercial breaks.  I gotta say.....putthing that performance on just before the announcement was a complete bonehead move.  It just accentuated how "not ready for prime time" both the Final 2 are.  Hell, that performance would make most of the rest of the music industry look "not ready for prime time".

nah he's a good singer and performer, actually there were a few that coulda won it this year....Hicks just won over the fans with his dances and faces and mannerisms

Chris Daughtery should have won...but if it couldn't be him, Taylor is a much better choice than the chick...I'm tired of girls winning.  I heard Chris sang with Live, too...would love to catch that.

I only saw a few episodes, and I also would've liked to see Chris win the whole thing. But I'm pretty sure that with his voice he'll get a record deal. Althought I'll admit that there are a few pretty big bands with singers just like him (voice wise).

I never really watched the last two seasons, but the first girl kelly clarkson that won I think has a great voice...I'm not out there buying her albums but it's kind of hard to miss the music... That song because of you sounded pretty good./.

I don't think it matters who wins, you just pick the most marketable person, does AI own their rights anyways..?

Who wants to see some old looking dude on trl ,? I guess all the idol sheeple willl buy anything anyways..

only episode i've seen of the american one was where that taylor hicks boy was auditioning. i'm actually really happy to see him winning as he was an average to ugly guy with a non-mainstream voice.

hopefully he'll acually make some good music rather than just sugary commercial modern shite.
