a bit worrying that he still keeps his fans waiting like that

not only is it disrespectful, it also increases the chance of rioting tenfold

if there are riots in Europe, forget a US tour

Half the fun of a gnr show is not knowing if its actually going to happen or not. Thats why as soon as the band hits the stage everyone flips out .

Exactly. I dunno if it's just a coincidence or whatever, but it makes the show that much more exciting because even before the band has played a single note the anticipation and suspense in the crowd as to whether or not they'll even show up is dramatic itself

True though. At the Hammerstein on the 17th, they took the stage later then usual. ?And at one point, security came by and made everyone sit in their seats. ?I started figuring an escape route in case a riot started hihi ?Yeah, I know it's silly, but you gotta think about that!

excuse me?

no, are you?

I stand by that comment, if you keep people waiting in the lurch not knowing whats going on for 2 hours at a venue, that is arrogant and disrespectful

the world has changed since 1991, rock n' roll riots (axl did cause a few) aren't familiar to the young people going to concerts that much anymore, but as long as axl rose is around, you can count on him getting his way, and getting away with it too! peace

well theres a certain rock n roll danger attached to a degree, but 2 hrs is pushing it way too much

it's remarkably stupid when trying to stage a comeback and being on what most would agree is a 'final chance'.

Any more riots and nobody will have him play at their venue, comeback over. simple as that

Fuck yeah man, no it's not silly, it's funny to think about it but it's the truth that's exactly what I would do as well..

Man if they are going to consider the live dvd from the Hammerstein shows..I don't care which performances they pull the individual songs from...they MUST use 'welcome to the jungle' from the first night to start the dvd they MUST do that...i dont give a fuck if there are mistakes or anything...it's that moment that needs to be captured

i dont know if its fun, after youve paid $60-100 (or more) for a show, plus another hundred on food and swag to not know if it's gonna actually happen...OTOH, i do agree that the late start time does build suspense.... Undecided
