Axl's movement is great.? There is nothing wrong with the way he does or doesn't move.? He puts on one hell of a performance and has an amazing stage presence.? One can't really ask for anything more.

you can ask for more (or less as the case is here) when said movement affects your ability to sing well

Mick Jagger is 63 years old. He looks younger than Axl onstage. yes

The way Axl dresses doesn't help either... no

He's dressing 100 times better now than in 02 - that was a disgrace

It seems that Axl may have found a new stylist, fair cop I say

It's all about the music, but it doesnt help the marketing team when you have a 40 year old man trying to dress like a gangsta flogging the product

LOL!
Well I didn't go to NY but did he (as he did in 02) run backstage a lot or did he hang out on stage?...That was a  disappointing factor with those 02 bootleg vids...the minute there was a bit of a guitar break he would be running off stage...I am really glad he showed up for you guys ok and gave you a regualr 2 hour show ok Seems like he actually likes his job again ok

I saw Axl twice in Texas in 90-93. Once when soundgarden opened for them and the Metallica, Faith No More show---I loved FNM but they played for like a second , then Metallica came out (this was after Hetfield got torched so he was only singing the songs) , I thought it lacked energy but it may have been cause JH was in pain. Anyway on both concerts? i saw, Axl moved and roamed the stage like a tiger, unfortunatly his voice was shot to shhiiite. He saved the day with the energy him and the band exuded. So I can only hope that when I see him in...Houston...Dallas...and hopefully another close venue that not only will his voice be better but that he still exudes that energy because if he has lost that energy and movement and his voice by the time he gets to Tejas I will have wasted a lot of pesos.

I agree with that statement .? ?That is why i didn't spend my money on Hammerstein shows? .? i want to see good video coverage ( RIR)? of this band before I spend my money on them.? Bad bootlegs? and fanatics testimonials? are not good enough for me.? i need to see a tv quality bootleg before I decide.? ?

The Hammerstein shows were just awesome!  I can't find the words to describe my experiences!  Axl sounded very good, in fine vocal form, and his moves were very energetic!  I have no complaints at all.  I flew all the way from Calif. to see those shows and it was well worth it!  I wish I could go and do it all over again, see the same shows, or maybe see all four instead of only two.  It was just a hands down great experience!  Thanks Axl and the band for playing your hearts out and giving us a great show!

Don't you fuckers ever compare Axl to Mick.

Axl from what I see from the NY gigs, looks fucking baddass and seems real, and hardcore. Mick parades around like a faggot and doesn't sing anymore....he raps. Big fucking difference.

first off, axl has allways ran off stage during guitar solo's. secondly, i dont care if he was in a wheelchair, i just want to hear the music. i dont care how he was dressed, as long as he sang, thats good enough for me!!!

Axl has always had weak ankles....hence why he dances that "Axl" dance using mostly his upper body.  I don't know if he still does but back in the old days he actually used to have to have his ankles taped up by a chiropractor before every show.  Honest fact from a fan since 1987!

It really saddens me to see the increasing number of people on this forum that lightly throw around the word faggot and imply that being gay is something to be ashamed of.

It also saddens me that it seems to be accepted by the moderators.

I thought Axl's mobility was fine.  That stage was small, and crowded so if he ran around he would have to watch out not to run into anything.

what do people expect him to do on a 2x4 stage with 8 people and the gear? He had the little platform in the front to be alone...   He was like us, sweating his fucking nuts off..

all the other members had assigned stances so he could pick his way thru.....they needed an air traffic controller for that stage Grin

dude were you at the shows?? Huh

I was at all four and the man I saw had the hungry look in his eyes like he did back on the mtv awards in 88. I haven't seen axl, look, perform, sound this good since like 89

enough with negativity already... be positive the wait is finally over.

Were you in a coma between 90-93' Huh

No I wasn't in a coma, and i'm not now. I saw all 4 shows and axl is in shape, sounds great, moved great, and had alot of energy... can you run and jump as well as you could 16 years ago?

I'm so sick of people who just love to bash axl no matter what he does. His NY performances are 100 times better than anything in 2002, and his voice kills his destroyed 91-92 days...

But you still didn't answer my question were you at the shows?
