That would probalby be the last concert I would ever have to go to, seeing both JP and GnR.
So I'm not from England, could someone clarify what the capacity of wembley stadium is and the 3 nights they sold out?

Oasis sold over 40 million albums worldwide. In UK, they even outsell the Beattles. American people can't understand how big Oasis is in Europe. Oasis totally dominated and ruled Europe in the mid and late 90's.
Totally
. They are wayyyyyyy too big to "open" for GN'R even if it would be my dream because they are my 2 favourite bands.
Oasis opened for Guns N' Roses at Rock in Rio 3. I can assure you they will never do that again.

The Darkness have sold out Wembley Arena , not Wembley Stadium.
Wembley Arena = 12,000 approx.
Wembley Stadium (when it was there) 75,000 approx.
The new Wembley Stadium (when it's built) 90,000.
I saw Gn'R at Wembley Stadium in 1992 , it was sold out , best gig of my life.
Regarding The Darkness , I do own 'Permission To Land' but I'm becoming bored with them , last year was their year.
They have no new material.
They had awful . awful reviews for the few summer headlining festival gigs in the UK.
By the time 'Chinese Democracy' comes out , no-one will remember these guys.

Wait are you guys saying you want the band that song "short skirt and a long jacket" or whatever to open up for Gn'R
The only people I have ever seen that listen to weezer are the hippys of my generation (im 17). And that'd in my opinion make then look to soft. Lets bring back rock....Darkness is out in my opinion because they come of as a parody act (even if they arent), SoaD could be a decent choice along with Megadeth, Bachs new band could be kinda gnarly too. Linkin Park or Limp Bizkit would be a fuckin joke! All this talk about Guns N' Roses being the potential savior of rock and you want people who are perpetuating its downfall??? I going to go out on a limb and say that anyone who insists that the idea of Weezer opening for Guns N' Roses is a fucktard

I could be wrong, but I'm probably not.
That song is Cake, not Weezer.

WOW! wouldnt that be something! Id probably be 2 in awe of the man to share a stage with him, Id pass out from shock. Although i think he and i would hit it off cause we'd have some stuff in common.
dude, you'd better pick me as your drummer then! I wanna hang out with Brain, talk shit and learn some killer fills from him!
Primus would be awesome, but the GN'R fans would definately boo them off stage, I don't think Les likes GN'R either, I seem to remember that he wasn't too happy about Brain joining.
Jet would be awesome as well!

Weezer is a good idea...
Jerry Cantrell would be pretty sweet!
APC would be great but they are too big now.
Queens of the Stone Age might be cool but they are probably also too big and might not want to..
Strokes? i dont know if they'd want to though.
Supersuckers kick ass too, but i dont think theyd want to do it either.
QUOTSA have split up haven't they?

No, the bassist was fired though.
Manic Street Preachers would be interesting as an opener. Nobody seems to know them in USA anyway.
Oh, and Monster Magnet might be cool as well.
