how about sebastian bach's new band?

That would be perfect! Sebastian Bach loves Axl and the new GNR (saw him say it on VH1) and his band is not big enough to headline a show, but not to small enough to open for GNR

Weezer? Lolololol - utter shite

Velevet Revolver should open - if they hate each other its a great way to compete - if they want to patch things up its even better.

Izzy and /or Adler's Appettite can open for them in turn ok

so what? Just because that things you said the new skid row should not open for gnr? C'mon! Did you heard "Thick Skin"? Is a great album!! Johnny Solinger is a great singer!! Of course that I think Baz is the best option for skid row, but with him or without him, skid row still a great band! END OF THE STORY!

PS.: if Aerosmith could touring with Kiss, Why skid row should not tour with gnr?!?

Weezer should have a similar schedule, not to mention they are the only band I've never had the chance to see out of all the acts i've ever realistically had the opportunity to see...it'd be phenomenal....

Weezer is a good idea...

Jerry Cantrell would be pretty sweet!

APC would be great but they are too big now.

Queens of the Stone Age might be cool but they are probably also too big and might not want to..

Strokes? i dont know if they'd want to though.

Supersuckers kick ass too, but i dont think theyd want to do it either.

blue oyster cult would be great too, with a heavy dose of cowbell of course.

but seriously, it will probably be a pretty good band that is relatively unknown...im always down for checking out a great band that is low on the radar.

Kiss is not the best example, Poision is touring with them now. ( Poision is everything that makes 80`s bands look bad)

GNR needs a band that has come out within the last 10 -12 years. Weezer would be a good choice.

I think that Ash would be a good opening act, but I think they'd pick a US act like Weezer again as others have mentioned. Silvertide would rock as well, but they supported VR and so might be kinda against the 'newGNR' as Sum 41 were when they refused to open in 2002.

In a perfect world, I'd like my friends' band? Without Grace (www.withoutgrace.com) to open for them!! They just recently got signed and have a single coming out here in the UK in a few weeks. Check out the site and downloads and stuff and let me know what you think!!
That is actually good. What the hell is going on? Labels are signing good bands again... Weird.
