There is no reason why any major act would clammer to take Baz on an extended tour - as you stated yourself he can't even get a major record deal these days - he's a nostalgia act now.

First step (and it is a big step!) is to make all the Euro dates. Any talk of a US Tour is very premature in my opinion.

I gotta assume there'll be several Ohio stops. I'm guessing at least Columbus and Cleavland plus maybe Cincinatti (sp?). But here in Michigan I'm sure we'll only get one stop at the most!

If I was GNR, I would hit the largest regional centers.? ?I think, they should play Philly, Chicago, Seatle, LA, Miami, NY, Dallas, Atlanta, San Francisco, Las Vegas, and Denver.? If they book dates in secondary markets like Minneapolis, KC, Phoenix, St. Louis, it should be in theatres like the Hammerstein--and maybe book two nights in the larger cities of those markets.?

In 2002 they had no new goods to promote. Most of the people coming out were people who didn't even know it was a new band or people coming out of curiosity. The size of the tour will depend largly on when CD comes out and how well it's doing at that point I would imagine.

With a cd out, they will do fine in the second tier venues. If Poison can do it, GNR sure as hell can!

I don't understand why people post non informed shit like this. Most of the Poison/Cinderella Tour is booked into regular size summer tour venues not "second tier" ones. Second, I don't think anyone on the planet regards GNR (in any incarnation) as being on the same level with Cinderella or Poison.

The CD being out has nothing to do with the size venue they play. The success of the CD after it's released will be the deciding factor.

There's alot of places over that way in both Tampa and Clearwater they could play. I would imagine Miami will get a show too.

I hope not because acoustics are crap at the American Airlines Arena, same for the whatever their calling the Hockey arena in Sunrise. Hard Rock would be perfect but probably too small at 5,000 seats. They were going to play Sound Advice in 2002 so if Clear Channel sponsors the tour it is the most likely choice as they own that facility. Sound is great there, would be an excellent choice.
