They should do small venues9the warfield in San Francisco) at first like hammerstein in New York.  If everything goes well then they should add bigger venues.

I think if they can't play Philly, they'll play Wilkes-Barre. Its about an hour and a half away.

This is tremendous news -

If someone told me in December that in the next 5 months, we'd have 4 new leaks, 4 excellent shows played in NYC, a set tour in Europe, Axl being interviewed by Eddie Trunk, Axl saying that the album would be out in the fall and definitely in 2006, and that they'd be touring the USA again, I'm gonna be one happy fucking pig swimming in his own shit

I saw NIN there last November.  It's a nice little arena, but they had more security and check points there than a federal prison.  Plus they cut off all alcohol sales before NIN even took the stage.

« Reply #30 on: May 23, 2006, 02:47:19 PM »

It will be interesting to see if they come back to Philly. ?I have no problem headed back to NYC though. ?Hopefully there will be more presales. ?It will be weird to have bad seats after being so close at Hammerstein. ?I will always have fond memories of the 2 Hammerstein shows I went to. ?
