Ron is the NICEST dude EVER! I've sent him a couple of messages and he replied to all of them, being a total sweetheart. Here's what he said in one of the messages (regarding the London gig at Hammersmith): Will try to find a way to sneak off and hang with y'all I'm really amazed, I still can't believe the guy, he's so cool! |

He is a real fan's member of the band. I thew him an email the other day and got a reply back, just a friendly few lines to say thanks for the welcome, see me in london, etc. (also he might be thinking of dropping the bbf moniker) Axl is a reclusive genious, and that works for him, I even think it's what's helped to keep the GnR myth alive, but new GnR could also do with folks like bbf reaching out to the fans too. (not to disrespect any of the other guys, I've met Tommy before and he was real friendly, and The others coald be as well for all i know.) GOOD TO HAVE YOU ON BOARD MATE!

Bumblefoot seems to be a really nice guy and really fan friendly... hopefully he'll earn his stripes over this European tour. I haven't seen/heard enough of him to tell if he can fill Bh's or Slash's shoes.... but I mean is he being brought in to replace those guys.. or is Robin now the guy to replace those two and Bumblefoot to take Robin's old spot? Either way, he's an awesome guy and I hope he does well with gnr. |
