It doesn't seem clear what 'headlining Inland Invasion' actually means. Is this a show where performers will only play a handful of songs and/or will the 'headliner' get to play a full 2 hour set? Has anyone been to one of these shows before and can clarify?

If not, and GN'R are set to only play a few songs, logic would tell me that this is a good sign that they plan to heavily promote the new album come the fall. I don't see Axl & Co. playing just a few songs on a bill with a ton of other performers simply to entice a younger audience to attend future Guns shows. There must be a BIGGER reason to play such a show.

The next question is, if the above logic is correct, will GN'R do other 'one off' shows like this to promote the album BEFORE heading out on a full scale U.S. tour in support of the album?

Im pretty sure they get a full set. Other bands get shorter sets, but Im pretty sure headliners get at least an hour and a half. They better anyway, im not flying all the way from canada just to see them play 4 or 5 songs.

I'm assuming its just like any other festival....And I would guess that its going to be a part of their tour, well hopefully anyway, cause if it is, then a show in vegas would come shortly before or shortly after Smiley then i can see em here in Vegas and L.A.!

Yeah, I don't see GN'R playing their first gig in L.A. in 15 years for only half an hour. I'm pretty sure they're gonna play a full set. I mean, it's GN"R! At least they better, cuz I'm gonna be living in L.A. by then and that would make up for me having to give away my tickets to a show Europe.  ok

The headliners do play a full set. I went to the KROQ Weenie Roast and many of the bands played shorter sets, but the Red Hot Chili Peppers, who headlined, played for like an hour and a half.

^Yeah, i was there too, to see the Peppers.? An hour and a half is a full set for RHCP; so GNR should surely do a full set.

They'll get around 1:20/1:30, a full festival set.

I expect KROQ to stream the festival online as well, they've done so in the past..
