GN'R shooting video in England?

This GNR in England thing. Perhaps they are shooting something for the Metal Hammer Awards which are like the day after Download. GNR in Prague two days after Download so I can't see them staying in the UK for the Awards. Axl's up for the Icon award right, chances are he's won and they are shooting an acceptance bit or maybe the band are filming a performance clip for that show (I believe it goes out on TV about a month after the show).

Unless they are filming a performance shot for Top of the Pops. They had Velvet Revolver on before their album was out here so GNR wouldn't be too far fetched.

I wouldn't take it too seriously.  I remember the same kind of talk in 2002 when GN'R were supposedly stopping in China to shoot the video for Catcher In The Rye.

I haven't read through all these pages but I guess the fact that Trunk just posted that Axl was at the airport departing for Europe, puts the story that Axl was in England filming to bed then?

Not to be picky but technically that video was filmed in New Jersey (Giants Stadium) and Donnington Festival 1988, I know...I was there for the NJ part.....

No, because Fortus said in an e-mail that they are "currently in England". If it were a video shoot, it would only take 2 days.

and he did say on Trunk that he prefers Priest better than Maiden. He only likes Maiden's first album (Bruce Dickinson wasn't even in the band back then).

I don't think Guns N' Roses are shooting a video right now. I think this will be done later in like August after the tour and then they take a break befor the U.S. tour.
