Not alot of Nominations this time at all...i guess this decade is a bit too old Undecided

Led Zeppelin, The Beatles and Jimi Hendrix multiple albums nominated.

I thought it was weird that Jefferson Airplane, Janis Joplin and Cream didn't get nominated Huh

I was gone for most of the nomination period, or I would have thrown a couple of those in also, along with some Dylan.

35 albums nominated for the 60's
73 albums nominated for the 70's
86 albums nominated for the 80's
102 albums nominated for the 90's
144 albums nominated for the 00's

it's weird how the farther back we go the more albums are forgotten, for instance I'm sure that alot more than 35 albums were great in the 60's if there is 144 worth mentioning from 2000-2005, but that's time for you, things just get lost in the mix Cry

i guess cause alot of people on this board are mainly into rock and metal, the 60s was when it only started to emerge in very basic form so theres not alot that can interest people in that era.

yeah but ive always hated the beatles personally lol so it had to be done as i love led zeppelin and hendrix. i dont like the stones much but i think mick jaggar was a big influence as a frontman.
