The old band complained that it was a very difficult song to play; I would imagine the new guys have enough to worry about covering the old AFD plus NR + YCBM than to tackle that monstrously difficult epic.

He probably wanted Bumblefoot to learn the same catalog he had the other guys learn back in 2002. I am hoping before they return to the United States in September, that they have at least expanded the catalog to include 4 more Illusion songs... I don't care which ones.

On top of those it would be nice to get a couple more Chinese Democracy tracks rotated in too.

I do definitely agree with the three others. Those 4 are easily 4 of my favourite GN'R songs but they seriously cannot play Coma. That would really piss on Slash's legacy in GN'R and its something I'm totally against.

They will not go back to playing estranged. It eats too much time out of the setlist, besides, now that they have CD material to rotate into the sets they have more than enough staples they are required to play. We will never see NR and Estranged in the same set again, and he has to play NR because it was the biggest hit of the Illusions period. There are just too many other songs to play, and adding another 10 minute song to an already crowded setlist is just overkill.

i thought i heard somewhere that Axl said its an Izzy song thats why he wouldnt play it...

i agree with the exception of dont cry, i dont care anymore about that song.  i noticed gnr was playing 5 new songs and 4 uyi songs, they should cut back the afd songs, and add some more CD and UYI songs

I keep seeing people say this, but what song would you cut? Other than Out to get Me, there is really no Appetite song to take out of the set. Think about you has been cut, and RQ only played at a few shows. The rest are staples of any GNR concert, and keep the crowd's energy level up, as they will always get people on their feet because of their longevity. Until the new material has been released and had a few years to filter, the Appetite stuff will be needed to keep the place from becoming stagnant.
