Yes - they don't have it posted bc they have another party booked until 12, so we can't have the private section, but we can still take over the first floor.     See you there!

Yeah, what's the deal with Slash and Coma. Does Axl not play that song anymore, cuz someone mentioned that on a diff thread, but I never got an answer to that question. Is coma no longer a song on the setlist?

They never really played it much in the first place cuz it's such a beast. But as far as Slash goes, I believe he wrote like all of the music to that so it's kinda his baby. I think thats the only reason Axl wouldn't do it alot live.

That's true, Slash wrote it. And he was high when he did that I don't think that Guns n' Roses would play songs like Coma, 14 Years, Dust n' Bones, So Fine, Civil War etc. without Slash, Izzy or Duff. Those are like "their" songs.

god,i was so chuffed i lived in the UK when all the dates for the tour were announced,but now im so jelaous of you guys in NY.if any of you are mega rich women and you want a date to the NY shows (providing you have a spare ticket) i would be happy to accept plane tickets and accomadation from the UK to NY and escort you to the NY shows.ill also buy you a MacDonalds on the way?

Im flying on my own from Heathrow on my birthday so come on man pull yourself together! And before you say it im not rich! Once in a lifetime.

Just booked it all up ladies and gentleman, two nights and one show to see and I cannot wait! Never been to New York either.

how much it all cost you the cheapest i could do it for was ?600 flight Hotel and Concert staying 15th til 18th was going to catch the 17th show

I don't know if anyone has been to a GNR show with a GA floor - or to Hammerstein - but if you have.....

What do you expect the floor environment to be like?  I saw Velvet Revolver at the 9:30 Club (a tiny venue) in DC and it was all straight-up moshing - which was GREAT!   However, this time I'm bringing my wife with me - who is also a big GNR fan. 

Some reviews of other shows at Hammerstein I've found (Tool, Strokes, Pantera) say that the floor is very dangerous but this could just be because of the younger crowd for those bands. 

I for one can't imagine too wild a crowd for KOFD, Patience, NR, Blues, Maddy, etc.........

Footnote-
I am going two separate nights - once with her and once without.  So the night I go with her I'm willing to hang back in the crowd and stay out of the mayhem.  The night I'm there by myself is another story.

See if Hammerstein has a coat check, and maybe they'll allow you to check the camera for the night since you can't bring the camera to the floor
