No seats on the floor.

Seats in the balconies (Mezz1 and Mezz2).

Again, there's really no such thing as a "bad" seat, from what I've seen.  And they only sell as many tickets, in the balconies, as there are seats....so if you have a ticket, you'll get a seat.

But, if you want to get close to the front of the balcony, yes.  Line up early to try and get your preferred spot. 

All things considered, though.....I doubt if you get in line around 6:30 or 7 PM that you'll have a hard time finding choice seats in the balconies.  You might not be right on the rail, but you'll find seats you'll like.

I finally got all 4 of my tickets - sooo happy!  The prospect of seeing GNR in less than 2 weeks is the only thing keeping me sane right now in the chaos that is my office.  It's almost the 12th, it's almost the 12th...

Sorry a head of time if this has been answered already, but i have a few questions.

My father and I will be comming in from Buffalo through LaGuardia on the 12th, and are wondering how to get to a reasonably close hotel from where Hammerstein is. I would like some information and direction on how to get to a hotel near Hammerstein from the airport and which would be the cheapest way. we'll be attending the 12th and 14th shows. - cheers ?

With that said, if you have GA tickets, would it be advised you still get in line outside the venue, and hour to an hour and a half before the show starts?

I just wonder if this is a venue where you have elbow room to move around on the ground or if you're squeezed between Gunners from all angles...

My heart wont be broken if Im not front and centre with the stage but I at least want to be close enough to see the Redhead

And once again, what is everyone doing camera wise?

Anyone bringing a disposable, or is it simply not the risk of being kicked out of the show?

You can see the stage from anywhere you're standing at Hammerstein.  As far as cameras - security will look into your bag outside.  If you get it in, unless you're standing directly in front of security when you take the pic, you're probably ok.  Especially with a disposable, I would guess that the worst they would do is confiscate it.

according to the weather channel its supposed to be in the 70's that day, so it should just be an awesome all around day

They do, but I think they close for the season on 5/1

im bringing a camera basically for the pre party at mustang harrys, just for the memories and good times.? its a disposable, so if they give me any problems at hammerstein, then i ll just ditch it

im just curious to know, what are the seats in the mezz like? would they be comparable to seats at a movie theater, or basketball game?

god,i was so chuffed i lived in the UK when all the dates for the tour were announced,but now im so jelaous of you guys in NY.if any of you are mega rich women and you want a date to the NY shows (providing you have a spare ticket) i would be happy to accept plane tickets and accomadation from the UK to NY and escort you to the NY shows.ill also buy you a MacDonalds on the way
