im guessing they look like any other ticketmaster ticket.
I know that but does it just say "Guns N' Roses" or does it say stuff like "Chinese Democracy" or "no cameras"
Yes I know I'm pathetic, I should really see a psychiatrist though, Ive been dreaming about these concerts every night, its getting kinda scary, I cant wait to meet all of you so I wont feel like I'm too obbsessed with GNR, although I'm acctually gonna be dressed up as Axl so that might not work.

there are some venues that say no cameras but once you sneek it in and take pictures the security guards dont care is the hammerstein like that or will they enforce the rules.

whats the big deal with bringing cameras, im not talking about camera phones because for the most part they suck, but a regular disposable camera too take a few shots for bragging rights isnt that bad, were cameras not allowed during 2002

i would Love to go to cbgb's while there,i don't know if my friend would like it but maybe some some of us can get together and? make a night of it on one of the nights there is no gnr? as long as it's not some spoken word artist that throws nasty stuff while boring you out of your mind or triggering a migraine
I'm totally going to check out CBGB's i'm in for any off gnr night....
me too...but the 13th is the day i arrive in NY...so i'm not sure if i will show up at CBGB's that night already. Maybe if i know for sure soem of you are going to be there i might be going too.
I'm up for it,i fly into NJ on the 11th so pretty much any non GnR night is cool.i'll have internet access at my friends so i'll check the board unless we figure it out sooner. oh yah,the no smoking in bars sucks rocks.

thats where I'm staying. If your staying there lets bunk up and make sure no fuckers steal our gnr tee-shirts lol.
If you mentioned that on here a week or so ago, I probably got the idea from you!!
Is anyone interested in checking out the Yankees/Rangers game on the 16th? Should end around 930pm or so, plenty of time to go out afterwards. PM me if interested.

oh man you problably would've been better off just stay in New York. I'd say a cab ride would cost $30-50. cabs are expensive...a cab to the bar I go to which is only a town over is $20

Few questions:
1) Why would you wait in line for so long if you are just gonna lose your spot when you go to bathroom? (is the plan not to go to the bathroom)
I mean, if you can push your way back to your spot why even wait for 5-6 hours. Especially those planning on drinking.
2) Can't you just push your way to the front? I found that to be the case at a few other small venues I been to. Its the rowdy people in front and then less rowdy people in the perimeters. I'm willin to get rowdy.
3) I seen comments here and there but why would you wanna be in Mezz? Don't you want the energy of the floor? I don't understand this?
Is MEzz considered better than floor?

just my thoughts
1) those waiting in line probably aren't drinking (unless they are flasking it), thus no need to go to the bathroom.? if you can't hold your urine for 5 hours and you're not drinking, you have a bladder problem my friend, plus with an incentive of being 10 feet away from Axl, I think you can hold it.? seriously, if you can make it through the night without being a bed-wetter I think you can make it this long (most people sleep over 9 hours).
2) yes you can push your way to the front, if you think you are part of the 'cool crowd' doing that; get rowdy by all means
3) can't speak for everyone on the mezz issue but here's my personal thoughts why i like it:
* Don't want to spend the entire concert being pushed up against the front, having my dick in some guy's ass, and another guy's dick in my ass....
* There's that awkward 'where do i put my hands' thing on the floor, if I put them in my pockets I lose my balance in the sway, but if I keep them at my side, they are touching an ass on my left and a wanker on my right
* Don't want to have my view blocked by a huge dude (even though I'm 6'3", there are taller people out there)
* Don't care for surfers and their flying feet hitting me while Richard is playing an awesome slide guitar solo that I'm enjoying
* I come to GNR concerts for the music and seeing Axl, not to sweat my balls off jumping up and down against strangers who I don't know if they have showered in the past month
* Do want to hear better sound quality that you get from being away from the stage speakers
* Do want to see entire band, not just one player on one side
* I've touched, or been within a few feet of Tommy, Dizzy, Brain, and Bucket --- no need to fight my way through a crowd to get close to these guys when I've been 2 feet away from Tommy's guitar for his entire 2 hour solo set, the only person worth being close to is Axl
* I'm coming with my little sister the fourth night, no need to worry about her getting trampled in the mezz
* Many GNR fans aren't 16 year olds that are full of piss and vinegar, they want a little less hectic setting, and besides, it'll be rowdy enough wherever you are in the building

A-Fuckin-Men! I don't think it'll be too much of a problem. Most 17-20 year olds can't afford $80 tickets. it will not be a moshing atmosphere. maybe a little pushing. Maybe if it was the old band...it would get out of hand but most young people don't care about gnr they want to see axl, slash, duff & izzy

I'm not waiting in line for shit, I will just go on the floor and enjoy myself after having a great time with new/old friends.. Getting there super early and wanting to be front row was something I cared about 15 years ago... Now i'd be happy just to see him live.. I like water and beer so the bathroom is my friend
We should get our new gnr piss bags so we can just stand for hours and drink all we want..
I hope with all the drinking and die hards that no fights break out in such a tight pushy atmosphere..
