I would go but I'm closer to the west coast. Maybe if he does a show in Vegas, I'll go.

Why not wait until you have a ticket and then post?

I don't wanna add people's names now and then try to figure out which ones are actually going, which ones unfortunately didn't get tickets or can't go.

Not a bad idea Jarmo.  It'll save some clutter.  At any rate, are we all just waiting to find out how to get tickets or does someone have a legit idea where they may be available?  I'm guess I'll end up getting ripped a new asshole by a ticket broker.

If anyone from Toronto is planning on going, I 'may' be able to give you a drive down.
I'm 99% sure I can go so if I get tickets then I'd be up for doing a road trip.  Let me know if anyone is interested.

Also if anyone from the board has the opportunity to get extra tickets, please get them because I'm sure that someone on the board is going to miss out and at worst you can sell them to scalpers.

Oh, I'm going...? ? believe me, I AM GOING. Come hell or high water, I will be there. If I have to sell my engagement ring to pay scalpers for tickets, I will.? ? ?I WILL BE THERE.? smoking

*edit for my fiance's sake* - okay, I took it a little far...? ?but I stand by my words: i will be there.
Like I said in another thread, I live a few blocks away, I'm more than willing to camp out if need be.

Well if you know for sure you can get a great seat quicker then me please do so for the first night, I will try to buy extra too.. Whatever I get I get, I'm not going to buy 4 tickets off ebay or some other rip off... I'll meet you in bay ridge and go, maybe a beer and head to 34th
No matter what extra tickets will be sold to whoever needs them at the meeting spot..

be sure to have your name tags on people with your htgth t shirt hammerstein ball issued

The tempest is a cool bar, I was there last week, it's on 30th and 8th avenue... You have the blarney near the manhattan mall which is 33rd between 6th and 7th ave.....

madagas I am going to get as many tickets as possible for the nyc show, so I will try my best to hook you up..
if people live in the nyc area the best thing to do is establish a early meet up spot and be able to buy tickets off one of us for face value and have fun..

jaz I'll meet you and we'll go in together.. ok

FYI - anyone who's looking for a hotel in downtown NYC thats reasonably priced (well, reasonably for Downtown NYC) - This one isn't bad.

http://marriott.com/property/propertypage/nycmd?WT_Ref=mi_left

A few of us are going to be staying there... its about the only hotel I've found in the downtown manhattan area for less than 200 US per night.

In addition - a proposal to anyone from the board who's going.  We're considering organizing outside of the Hamerstein pretty early on Monday (like 7-9 AM or so).  Basically to hold our position in line for GA admission.  We'd kind of like to do it in shifts so that the position is still held while people run to the bathroom, go get lunch, run to their rooms, whatever.  Anyone who wants in to help us with that, let me know via PM or whatever.

(This is all in reference to the show on the 15th)

Peace out,

Is there any way that we can arrange for someone to hold the line for people that will be getting in later?? I'm going to be driving in from Toronto so that's an 8 hr drive... I'd probably only get there around 3 PM (so that we aren't too tired).

Also, why don't we consider doing a big group thing for the hotel.. I'm sure we can get a decent discvount if there are enough of us.

EDIT: Anyone know how much parking downtown costs?

You try that and you're bound to get grief from the people who are already in line before you're there.  It's basically a line cut and GA folks, as friendly as they can be while waiting outside, will usuallly have none of that.  If you plan on waiting all day, organize the line with numbers and a list in order of arrival - I did that for U2 and it worked out just fine (of course, I ended up front row, so perhaps my opinion is biased - but that's just my experience).

hey i'm new to this forum, I didnt even know HTGTH had a forum till someone just wrote about it in the Velvet Revolver forum that we might get hooked up with Tickets early as a pre-sale

I'll def be going to both of these shows (in my Axl costume) I'm in College pretty close to the Hammerstein so I am so freakin exited for these concerts i cant sleep or even eat till I have tickets

I can show up on line by 11:00 am but i will have to go to class and leave the line for 2 hours between 2-4

let me know if thats cool or else I'll just have to show up at 4:00
