Have a hotel for the 12th at the New Yorker Ramada right on 34th street looking to split the cost.? Room was 200.00 a night so 100.00 is what I am looking for same street as venue very convienent. Feel free to send me a PM.

thanks for all of the tips on hotels, I haven't been to NYC since 1998 and flew that time.  this time I am driving so, my primary concern would be where would I be able to park my car for about 3 days. 

you could always park the car around my neighborhod in Brookln for free , on teh street.Bay Ridge is a nice area.

I have a Q, and sorry if this was already answered, but hey, I'm a tired student (wrote 9 out of my 10 exams so far....ahhhh!) and I don't have the patience to do a search...but I will be flying in from Toronto, and it'll be my 1st time in the big apple. ?Is LaGuardia Airport the closest airport to the venue?? ?

I will be making this a mini vacation for myself and if anyone has any tips on hostels (NOT hotels) or clubs (I'm looking for clubs/bars for sat and sun night--mid 20s, rock or mod type genre with dress code in effect sorta deal...) lemmie know if you know of any good ones (with their "theme"/crowd/cover charge/location/music)...or if you could direct me to a good website (although I would prefer advice from ppl bc web descriptions aren't always accurate)...

...oh, and ?JAMARO, add me to the list of attending Monday's (15th) show! ?sweet!...AND my sister Eeebs (add her as well, thanx!) will be there with me...front row...drooling...screaming...crying....

Was anyone else able to get over 4 tix for one show?  I was able to get 8 tix today for the 12th?  However, someone from ticket master said I got lucky and if they catch it, then they can void these tickets up until show time.  What type of shit is this?  It was my first time buying tickets from them online and I didn't know the rules.  So, I am certainly wanting to share these tix with fellow gunners, but I am afraid since Ticketmaster told me this?  Any thoughts?  Has anyone heard of this?

Never heard of that. Check the dates of yout tix when you receive them.
I would imagine if you paid for all 8 you will receive all 8.

Thanks Throat, this is making me nervous...they actually let me buy 42 tix originally....i thought for a minute i was going to be a hero to many on this board.  But, then they cancelled nearly all of my tickets and I about puked
They left 4 for the 14th and 8 for the 12th
They should arrive next week.  Do you think if I receive them in the mail, they'll all be good for the show.  I want to help out some fellow gunners...however, the dumbass I talked to on the phone scared the shit out of me when he said that if they catch it, meaning my 8 for the 12th, the can cancel 4 of them.  It doesn't seem fair, since I want to go myself and will be flying to NYC.  I would die if I got to the ballroom and found out my tix was invalid.  The guy told me they can void the tix up until show time...what a fuckin mess

Mustang Harry's is a bar and restaruant. I have been there plenty of times before events at the Garden and its usually a mixed crowd. You should be fine as long as you dont drink. Hopefully if I 2 tickets I will see everyone there!
