Good shit, except I would have to give Appitite an A+.  I agree with the rest of the ratings; great article too...I love the links as well.  Especially "Free Fallin'".  Fucking great song with Axl.

well, there are some inaccuracies and mispellings, and I don't really agree with your assesment of the songs at all.  i don't agree that this is an axl solo album.

Better going back to the ending of Estranged?

also, not sure that (m)any of those songs will even be on CD

Well I think we can be ~99% sure that IRS, TWAT, Better, Oh My God, Maddy and The Blues are there atleast..  Wink

I can guarentee you that 'oh my god' WILL NOT be on CD.  As for the others - keep in mind there are 3 CDs coming out.  No one can say for sure which songs will be on which album  ok

Axl said that there will be only one cd.. But they have material worth of 2? cds or something along those lines.

uhhh, I think maybe you should do a bit more research before you start writing reviews of an unreleased cd on your blog

It's not my blog which you could have checked and here is a transcript of the trunk show:

Quote
Trunk: Are they actually songs? Is it stuff...do you know what it was? Was it music that's gonna be on the record, or is it old stuff that's not even been used, do you know?

Axl: No, it's stuff that's gonna be on the record. Except, it's still debatable like...there's songs we're still shuffling around, I mean we recorded about 2 and a half/ 3 albums worth of material. So, there's still stuff that's gonna bounce between one and two.

Trunk: How long is the record gonna be? Is it like 2 CDs?

Axl: No, it'll be a regular CD.

Trunk: One CD. And since you're here, and there's so many rumors...and so much stuff people have said over the years. Let me address this one with you. Was there any...

^^  Well, I think the plan is that "chinese democracy" will be 1 CD, and then to release the next 2 cds over the next couple of years (that's why Axl said they're shuffling songs between the 1st and 2nd cd)

so, we're not really sure which songs will be on CD and which will be on the other discs.  but, i imagine that the leaks will be on CD since they're already released essentially

Not to criticize, but if you are going to give someone grief about grammar, you should spell "misspellings" and "assessment" correctly. ok

1. ?If you don't think Better and Estranged have something in common, go back and listen to the final few minutes of Estranged and let it go right into Better. ?Then tell me those two songs are not at least similar in tone and tempo. ?And thematically, Estranged ends with losing something and being alone while Better carries on the isolated feeling about being alone.

2. ?If you read my blog and not just the ratings of the songs...I said this is not an official review but I'm only taking a look at the first 10 songs we've heard so far. ?Who knows what songs will actually be on Chinese Democracy...or if that will actually be the title of the album at this point. ?We were promised an album as early as 1999. ?Then again in 2002. ?And every year since. ?As what the future holds...none of us here know anymore than anyone else. ?All I do know is what is out now. ?And that's what I reviewed.

3. ?as far as mispelins go, I'll pulll out my strunk and white next time i right a review at 1 in the mourning.

4. But hey, thanks for the feedback. ? I rather have negative feedback than no feedback at all.

estranged was written by axl and better was written by robin (apparently).

strunk and white isn't a spelling book.  although there is a section telling peeps to use orthodox spelling, but that isn't the problem with your review.

Axl wrote the lyrics, Robin wrote the music. According to comments Axl made in NYC
