this is impossible, the tonight show will be like the other....
old songs.....old songs.....more old songs, and some few new songs
nothing new
Sounds like someone's jealous that they aren't there.? ?  I don't think it's impossible...more that it's not likely.? But it's never bad to look at things in a positive light.? ?  ? Who ever knows with GN'R?? yeah, maybe(hardly) something new comes up today. this is the last show before the tour, a new song or would be perfect to make people anxious for the tour... they're rockin' NY, now they're gonna rock the world! The wolrd needs GUNS N ROSES!!! |

I find this disturbing.? GNR has played 3 tremendous sellout shows in NY, presumably in support of the single most delayed and mysterious album of all time, and there isn't even a mention of it during the shows.? Then we have quotes from Fortus saying they plan on recording songs with BBF.? Then we have Axl quoting that they have 2 albums of material where the majority of the music and lyrics are complete.
I know Axl has indicated that it will be out late November, early December (presumably for xmas sales), but I have my doubts.? Things are still so up in the air that Axl won't mention CD on stage.? Maybe I'm just paranoid, but my gut says no chance of CD in 2006.?
i agree...axl will probably want ron thal to re-record all of buckethead's parts...considering they're going to be on tour non-stop for the rest of the year, i don't see this thing being done anytime soon. once again axl starts from scratch and we wait another 5 years....thanks axl. |

Yeah it would be very nice to have 1 unknown song up. IT would be smart for the band. I think anything else like a "normal" set would be stupid.

If he thought that CD had a serious shot of coming out in 2006 he would mention it on stage...right? I mean it only makes sense to market your material and what better way to do that than to talk about it between songs that might actually be on the record.
I have a bad feeling about the whole "late fall" thing. I wouldn't get your hopes up for CD in 2006, seriously.
