What's the deal with Kid Rock, people?

I'm not a fan of his, but I think it would be cool to see him onstage with Axl!

It's not like he's on the record or anything, it's just a fun moment in the show!

People who haven't been there bitching about it, is totaly pointless!

has anyone thought izzy was just letting axl and the nu guns have their moment he did his friend a favour and left axl with his public
no way... something is up with izzy just leaving before it was over.  iizzy know the fans would have like to see him come out at the end with the band.  Im sure axl and the band would have liked to hang with him and talk about the show also.  They all seemed to be happy that he was there.

Well, we all know Izzy is very low profile....
But, still, perhaps he got too emotional...!  confused

at the time he made the face i saw while looking at axl i remember thing that axl's scream was so intense and the band was playin an old gnr song... but it was on steroids..it was gnr times 10.  It was so lound, intense and over the top that i thought maybe it was too much for his taste?  Everyone was shredding.  It was really intense... just a thought... i was drunk.. but i like the shredding... it was intense.

THis appearance is huge. By sharing a stage and having fun with this band, Izzy officially showed his approval for this Guns n Roses. This means a lot.

A "stamp of approval" is at most speculation.

Let's not forget Izzy's also appeared with Adler's band as well...

Well That was amazing, the pre party was great the show was great, and the wait after was great

I got my ticket signed by izzy he looked just like springsteen, evan seinfeld (bio hazard OZ tv show jaz hoyt) Kid rock signed my ticket, bbfoot got another big hug and signed my ticket.. Sebation bach came over and talked waving a light saber

The highlight though was when axl finally came out close to 3am, he was running with the light saber and came over to were we were waiting and shook our hands... He looked so happy, and shaking his hand wa s a great moment...

just a great time great night..

I know that was one of your big things on Monday....that Axl sort of ignored everyone on Sunday and just rushed the SUV.  That he didn't even acknowledge the fans waiting back there with a wave or something.

Glad he changed directions on that last night.  I bet you were psyched!

Yep This really is GNR, with or without any approval from the people who aren't in the band.
Nevertheless this Izzy's friendly act must be encouraging. Very.
Izzy doesn't "approve" or "dissapprove" anything... he just wants to play with his old friend(s) again... that's it.

In my mind it's only named GN'R, it isn't actually GN'R Wink But let's not get into that cause it's an old cow.

Whatever. If you go and enjoy playing with some people, it means you don't disaprove them/are not against them.
Therefore it's a sort of approval./You should know that in consequence, it will be taken for an approval, especially if you used to speak with disapproval of them

Uh-oh, Has he ever objected that Adler's band is not the "real AA" or whatever? I thought not.

Of course not, that's not the point.

Point being, Izzy's jumped onstage with old friends more than once in the past without any blanket
stamp of approval implied or for that matter, necessary. ?

Though a great moment for sure, all talk of "approval" or "passing of the torch" is just goofy.

I think Axl hurt the new band by getting Izzy to play.

Instead of further seperating the new band with the old, he basically just messed up whatever progress the new band were making.

Rumors were flying before about a GNR reunion, this will only add a million gallons of gasoline to those fires.

It cant help the new bands psyche either when they get lukewarm receptions and Izzy gets cheered till the roof blows off.

It sends a message to the new guys in my opinion that fans want the old band and not the new in my opinion.

So one great moment for Axl may have helped sabotage the new band and their quest for acceptance in the United States.

People were making up stuff anyways.  Why should he let alll of the misinformation keep him from playing with an old friend?

i am glad that Izzy played with the band but lets not read into this anymore than what it is. Izzy is a free spirit that now does what he wants with who he wants. As for the other band members ,there is just no way in the world that Axl would want Slash and Duff back. (I wont get into Adler) These guys have repeatedly sued Axl and trashed him pretty good in articles, though not lately.
If there is one thing from history you know about axl it is this: he doesnt forgive or forget.
I am just glad ol Axl got the rights to the name. can you imagine if he hadnt? Adlers Guns n Roses. Slash's GNR, etc.

Only stupid comments like asking if it was a mistake would hurt anything.  It was nice to see him on stage but the new band is GNR.  There is no reunion now.  The New GNR rocks.  I miss the old but love the new. The music is grown up and it will do well.
