When all I've got is precious time

« on: May 17, 2006, 08:46:11 AM »

They are not new they are older then the versions we have. He is not lying when he says they are different from the ones we have. These are different vocal tracks on the songs and you could better make out some of the lyrics.  Its not some version that someone fucked with, TWAT has less solos from what I can remember at the end.  IRS the middle solo is different too. He said he willl release them soon so we can all hear them.

Before all my posts about subjective matters there should be an IMO before the post. I took this sig down but of course it has to go back up.

Listening to a clean version of the "new" IRS now (Razz is playing it).

Right up until the "doing it all for my health" piece at the end I was right there with those thinking it was the old track with some new music played over the top.

But that spot sounds nothing like "our" version.? Tempo is slower and the lyrics are MUCH clearer and easier to understand.

It's definitely different.

Listening to TWAT now.

THIS one I can't tell.? It might be different, might not.? If it is, it's similar enough that it's hard to tell.? I THINK the base line might be a bit different, especially during the solo.

Edit: No, I couldn't record them.  No, I dont' have clean versions of them.  So no, I can't send them along.  Sorry. Sad  I was just listening to Razz's stream (which he shut down right after).

I heard them too From "Radio Razz" and IRS is clearly a completly unheard version of the song.. I don't like the drums in the beginning though.. And with Twat same thing, was almost like the same song (or the same song) that we all have heard, maybe some few changes in the solo..

And I couldn't record, sorry Sad

Agree completely. I too do not have anyway of recording them, otherwise I would gladly share with you guys and gals.

When are you brainaches gonna realise that the songs you have heard are LEAKED, UNFINISHED DEMOS and will therefore sound totally different both live and on record when/if they show up on the CD disc once it's mixed and mastered. I have demos from Soundgarden and RHCP etc on released cd ep's that sound like totally different songs than the ones that made the final cut. Stop wasting your time thinking you are "hip" to Guns new stuff until it's legally released and finished. ?hihi

I'll quote LordRazz directly here:
"And no, I don't have a full version of checkmate. I lost contact with the guy after I got the 16 second clip. I know, you think I should have held out longer, but the whole point was to STOP the leaks originally. That was done, Merck's a dick, and we're stuck with 16 seconds that may be Axl, or some guy doing Karaoke...who knows"

Too bad because Checkmate is a kickass song was it GN'R or not!
