If Metallica and GN'R WERE to appear at Download it would be on different days. And with Metallica playing on the Saturday, the obvious day for Guns to play would be Sunday.

Personally, I feel we are more likely to get AC/DC headlining the Sunday at the mo. peace

Don't be so sure about that...

so you think it`s likely that gnr will play there??

One can never be sure in the world of GN'R...  Wink

I wouldn't buy tickets yet though...

Back in 2004, both Metallica and GNR where scheduled for Rock in Rio (lisboa) on different nights. Metallica did play but GNR as we all know cancelled. So whats all this argument about GNR and Metallica being on the same festival, it almost happened two years ago.  Wink

It's not about being funny, it's about staying on topic. Something you and some others seem to have difficulties with.? Roll Eyes

So, if you feel like discussing how funny my posts are, you're free to leave feedback about it in the right section and in the right thread. Can you manage that?

/jarmo

Are you done whining about my posts ?

I'm not off-topic more often than any of your favorite posters ! I'm a GN'R fan, but I don't have the same point of view about this band that you, your mods or the people who want to be your friends.

Can you deal with it ?

Good for you. As I said before, maybe you need to have things repeated so you'll understand, post those opinions in the right threads from now on and you'll be fine.

According to a Queen site Admin:

"I hear from a good source...the three headliners are...mindblowing if you ask me.

Metallica
AC/DC
Guns N' Roses - (Axl and Friends)"

Then when I asked him whether he has heard about Rock In Rio-Lisbon this year he replied...

"Nope, but outdoor shows seem the way they are going.

I have a friend who used to work for Guns and she said Greatest Hits 2 is due in March/April, then finally the new album."

Make of it what you will! He has said in the past he is a huge GN'R fan and saw them at the London Docklands in 2002.

Notice how he writes Guns N Roses then (Axl and Friends) he deffiantly must mean the "new band"  hihi

And according to Martin from Velvet-Revolver.com in the latest Kerrang! issue there are "hints" towards GnR:

In the new issue of Kerrang there is a lot about Download festival.

In the contents page where it lists the confirmed acts and tells you which page to read about em, there is a phrase next to each one......

and all of them are GNR song titles.  This seems like the biggest hint ever.  I am contacting my sources at the moment to try and establish some fact.

What type of hints, example?

I'm not quite sure I've never seen it myself, they're probably adding  2+2 and ending up with 5.

But they said. "Pictures at the top saying Pretty Tied Up" "A Slash pic saying "Estranged"" "Anything Goes wrote next to something else"

Like I say probably nothing just what some people seen in Kerrang

Yeah, Interesting and confusing...
I have a friend who used to work for Guns and she said Greatest Hits 2 is due in March/April, then finally the new album.

So she doesn't work for GNR now.... hum. Maybe her info is old.

For a while i was thinking something like; Slash has just been joking, and says the Axl`s new cd will come out in March, and it sounds really good! Then we get a new Greatest titts! Slash knows the old songs sounds good  Wink that would be kind of a sad thing to do thoug

Well, if these GNR fans hinge their hopes on what a person that has been out of the band for more than 10 years says, the jokes on them. Smiley

i know what you mean.

But, i guess things are different when a band release greatest hits albums, they are not beeing promoted before they release them, are they? So it could just drop out in any day, without anyone knew it? Just a thought..
