Well i've been a g n'r fan now for sixteen odd years and scince about 96' like most people  i've been dying to hear what  material is gonna be on the new album, as time passed and orginal members left leaving only axl i though cool i'll listen to an axl rose album with such a cool voice how could i not , Oh my god comes out , cool moving with the times still sounds anrgy and fast ,wicked  new album must be soon nothing nothing ,time passes then 2006 happens the rumor mill goes crazy things sound hopeful  then bam download gnr to headline  and what original line up bollocks? cool? would i explode from excitment before it happens  hang on axl and slash on stage together never , even if they did would  it been 2hours of their past works or  a mix match of  Better , Paradise city ,Irs ,so on and  so on  ,do i  want my ticket to go and see new material sung but an idol with a new band ,or a legend (original g n'r)playing old songs that id  kill to see and hear? but i know there just rumors and theres no chance of seeing  slash and axl together but knowing how unpredictable  gn'r can be anything could happen right???probably most likely a no show and ill be left with a ticket to see a load crap ,thats angry with there mum and dad  cos there middle class lovely up bringing just hasn't given them anthing to be angry about!

How has the lineup changed, i thought (probably incorrectly) that it was the same lineup. without Layne.
I know they have been having Guest Lead Singers a lot as well. Like me..... Cool

wow, Sick of it All is on the bill too.  I do like the wide array of bands GNR are playing with on these festivals.  Sick of it All is a really fun band.  Great lyrics, great singalongs, and they are interactive with the crowd.  You can hear some of their stuff here.... http://www.myspace.com/sickofitallny

Normally tickets get sent out about 10 days before a show like this.  BTW I went to Donnington in '88 this is my first return since then.  Looking forward to it immensly.  A bit sick that they are now selling day only tickets though.  I ended up buying a weekend ticket just to see GNR.
