You know I always heard that Sebastian Bach was an arrogant prick.  I ran into him one night at the Rainbow on Sunset Blvd. and he was such a nice guy.  Later on that night he ran nextdoor to the Roxy and sang a song or two with some band that was playing there.

I then asked him if he (Finck) knew why Trent kept putting Axl referances up on the nin sites... he looked like he took offense and was like "i don't want to talk about that" and walked away... so whatever, guess he is a rock star now and is too sweet.

Well, keep in mind that he and Trent aren't exactly the best of friends these days.? Robin probably ducked the question rather than give NIN any type of publicity at his expense.

Maybe Trent was bitter that Robin chose to join GN'R rather than tour with NIN.

Trent seems to be bitter towards people that he thinks burn him, like Manson.

Oh well.

Great story, Mr. I. ?Sorry we didn't have a chance to meet at Mustang's, but it's probably for the best because I am beyond jealous that you met all those guys, so I really hate you right now. ?

Seriously, thanks for sharing that. ?It provides a nice glimpse into their character (not that they should be defined by fan encounters). ?My opinion is that Axl not replying with a "thanks" is fucked up, but you may have crossed a line with the NIN question to Finck (well he obviously thinks you did). ?As for Richard, all rock stars should be like him.

The NIN question doesn't really seem out-of-line. Who knew it would be such a touchy subject.

Hope this doesn't turn into a nasty GN'R vs. NIN feud.

Had to be somewhat expected given that Reznor has badmouthed Finck in the past.  Whatever, maybe Finck is just a very sensitive guy, which is fine by me, great musicians often are.

Thanks for that Intensity. Nice work, that whole NIN thing is a little strange, who'd a' guessed he'ld be so stand-oofish over the subject of some photoshoping.

I doubt there's gonna be a GN'R/NIN fued. ?Axl and Trent have always seemed to like each other. ?And Trent's deliberate GN'R references on NIN's photos probably don't mean anything negative. ?If they do, that's one stupid way of expressing it.

maybe finck was just tired and not in the mood for discussing uncomfortable subjects, i think that's perfectly understandable...

Sorry if this has been mentioned already...but how did you end up scoring access to this after party? Pretty damn cool if you ask me.

maybe he doesn't wanna aggrevate the situation further by having his comments taken out of context peace

I just acted like I was with two hot chicks and followed them in... hihi (well, sort of anyway.) Once in the after-party downstairs they told you where the after/after party was.. on the night I went it was at a club called "Butter."

Great story man!!! And Bach is the greatest guy!! I had the chance to work with him last year when he came to Brazil with his solo band, he's SO down to earth that's a little scary! But one thing you said about bach that worried me: you said he had a glass of wine in his hands. Damn, he said some weeks ago at his myspace that he has quit drinking  rant

And about his VH1 thing, it's a show called "Supergroup", a superband that has Bach, Ted Nugent and a lot of other rockers!! It'll premiere at May 21st!  ok

You have my word he was drinking wine... unless it was non-alcohalic wine or something...

Thanks a lot for sharing the story, very cool.  all the guys in the band seem cool, and i think you have to catch Axl at the right time otherwise he may not be in the mood to talk...

Great Interview Mr. I.

I'm glad to have met you, even briefly as it was, at Mustangs on Friday.
