It seems like everybody hates that song now after hearing it  at Hammerstein.  The fans seem to not like it and the reviewers  hate it.  Almost every review I have read  refers to this song as a big NO( boring).  Maybe Axl should drop this song from the album .

I miss the Bucket solo but Richard's new effect during the opening is killer.

I swear you fuckers pick some of the dumbest things to start a topic over.

No point in even going into this one, I was at the May 12 show, and the song is still good phenomenal.

while its not my favorite of the new songs, its still a power full song ... however i would take out the middle part with everyone speaking and replace it with a sick solo

I really love this song and have since I first heard it in January '01.  I want to hear the most recent versions yet though.  I just don't see how they could turn this song into a "bad" song.

I haven't heard a decent enough recording of it from the NYC shows to tell if it has been changed much BUT the version from 01/02 is a masterpiece  ok
My only concern is that they might have changed Buckets solo which was amazing.

Personally I think the song was awesome at Rio   with the buckethead original solo  but has sucked ever since.  You can't say it is because Buckethead is gone, he stopped using the solo from Rio  in 02' he totally changed it .  Someone needs to tell Axl  that the new version sucks .

I think they kind of have to put it on the album as they played it at the '02 VMAs!

Great song. It's a keeper.

Agreed, a UYI era B side. ?

An absolute momentum killer in a live setting.

This song is a true masterpiece. It hits the shelf right up there with "Estranged" and "November Rain". I think it's a great understatement to call this weak. Good post, AxlRoseChild. ok beer

To each his own, but I really don't understand how anyone couldn't like "Madagascar."

That song *is* Axl Rose, if you know what I mean.

Still does it for me, The solo is different each time we hear it though. I assume we will hear the newest one on CD.

Like the MLK speech a lot, adds much to the song.

Reminds me a bit of "Down by the seaside" by Led Zeppelin.
