To me it's pretty obvious, these shows are for a DVD.  There's no other explanation.  It looks like Axl will take the best performances of particular songs and since it's the same venue, the DVD will seem as though it's from one show.  NIN did this (as well as other bands) with the "And All That Could of Been" DVD.

This is exciting.  This big of band putting out a DVD in this small of venue?  Huge!  You never know, it could be a part of CD when it comes out.  A DVD/CD combo wold be a good way to sell records and minimize downloads. ok

It is a standard industry DVD trick and the signs are pointing to it being likely but I wouldnt cling onto hope too strongly yet.

everyone wearing the same stuff, bach wearing the same stuff, set list being very similar, interviews with people in line.

it all seems to add up to a dvd.

with that said, i bet there was a time will be played on wednesday, thats the only song that the cameras would need to get more coverage on.

It cost a ton of money to get a camera crew for 4 days. ?And all of the crowd shot as well that people have been describing, I don't think it's for 1 video.

if that turned out to be true, and they made their first video for chinese democracy just some live footage, i think it would 1) be stupid, because if you want to sell you need to get the kids and you need something flashier, and 2) crap, i had a two and i forgot it.

itll come back to me.

if that is what they do though, i would be very disappointed.

If it was just a video for one song why would baz sing on the same song every night and why would they need to flim the entire show all 4 night? If it was just clips for a video, the sound wouldnt matter because it would be overdubbed with the studio version anyway. An actual live version for the video just isnt going to happen. They might use clips, but i really think this is for a full on dvd.

Im sure they intend on making a dvd, that dosnt mean there will be a dvd for release. Alot of bands film for a dvd but never release.
