Bumblefoot in the band for a week?!

When i read the "bumblefoot in the band for a week"comment i assumed axl meant officially signed up as bucketheads replacement,for only a week.And someone said something about axl and the management trying to get bucket back right till the end.If thats true,then they probably had ron learning the stuff just in case,they couldnt get bucket back,which they didnt.just my take on the whole thing.

I think the Hammerstein performances vindicate that the band seems to be functioning a lot better without BH. Awesome guitarist but if he caused all the tension he was rumoured to then they are better off without him.

yea yesterday axl was .ike hes only been in the band for a week now and what a way to fucking kick some ass. I thought he was awesome his solo was fucking sweet interacted with fans better then anyone ive seen in a long time by letting play on his guitar and thanking the audiance after. He is very cool give him a few ddays and he will have all the songs down like hes been doing it his whole life.

I can't believe that Axl'd be such an unprofessional to hire Thal just one week before the shows.    but it'd explain why Ron was so lost and got no space.

It's not too late for Axl to realize the best combinaison for his band is the Finck-Fortus terrific combinaison and chemistry on guitars.
These 2 guys, when they are associated, are gold. LET THEM SHINE.

How do you know this? can you send me all these brilliant songs that have only Finck and Fortus so I can also hear them "shine"? You are a longtime member here, and I respect you, but your obsession with those two guys has reached the point of absurdity. You are now creating masterpieces in your mind that only have Finck and Fortus, and they can only be heard by you. Please back up this hero worship with facts and not fantasy.

1. as far as I know they (axl,management, lawyers have tried to get bucket back up until almost the last minute.

EDIT: Just to add something(directed towards you Nes): It is CRYSTAL CLEAR that for this decade Axl has envisioned the GNR lineup to consist of 3 guitarists. Whether its BH, Bumblefoot,etc. NOT two, but three. If Axl wanted a 2 guitarist lineup, it would have been Finck and Huge/Fortus from the start. It wasn't. Deal with it. Axl isnt going to erase BH parts and fire Bumblefoot because a few people are suffering from a severe case of idol worship and aren't willing to be open minded in concern to new GNR's music.

You guys are right, Buckets parts don't NEED to be re-recorded BUT I just can't see Axl putting out a record with Bucket on cos that would give him so much attention, does Axl wanna do that for a guy who walked out on him and in Axl's words 'only used his involvement with Guns to further his own career'? What i'm saying is I wouldn't be surprised if Axl did have Ron re-record BH's parts. I am a bit sceptical about an '06 release too as Axl said they still haven't picked the songs that will make the final, which means it hasn't been mastered and thins like track sequencing,artwork etc can take a LONG time in Axl land.

1992 when gnr was touring with metallica,i read one review that man said 2 things:
-metallica-profesional machine,they played 2 hours and after that gone
-guns n roses-these guys have his own real rnr attitude,they haven't  playlist,they do it on the stage.Somebody will think they are no proffesion,i think these guys are realy fantastic and fans like that

Buckethead was cooler with all the gimmicks, sideshow antics  and talent, but Thal does a good job at playing the guitar.
