5500 is WAY too many for a presale. i do think that most of them are still going in the normal sale...

Now, whether he meant 75% of the TOTAL tickets, or just 75% of the tickets that were going to be available via presale, I'm not sure. ?Maybe he'll clarify.

well i just paid 135 for a ticket on Stubhub. ?I have no faith that I will be able to get a ticket through ticket master tomorrow, and i fear that prices will only get worse from scalpers ?so i bit the bullet and least i have a confirmed tix. ?unless Stub Hub is a scam too. ?anyone ever buy from there before?

Not a scam at all.

In fact, the stubhub "promise" makes it pretty compelling.

You HAVE to have a paypall account LINKED to a checking account OR credit card on file to sell tickets, I believe.

If the "seller" doesn't get you the ticket within a specified time frame, stub hub "buys" you a ticket from those being listed and charges the original seller, who didn't deliver, for that ticket, no matter what it costs.

IF they can't find you a ticket in their listings, they refund your money AND, I think, give you something else...which they all charge back to the 'dirty" seller.

yeah, they could mean all the tickets allocated for the pre-sale were sold out in 2 mins or whatever... I  don't think I've heard of a show being sold out just on the pre-sale alone.
