**UPDATED** NEW YORK SHOW(S) TICKET THREAD!!!!!

Just a thought....but there hasnt been an announcement of a general onsale for these dates, only a presale which was sent out to only certain people. Whether its  all livenation members or only the GNR forum members who signed up is unclear...but maybe they figure they'd do this so 7,400 tix become available to MOSTLY the most devoted GRN fans. They probably know after the first 2 tour date test that these two new ones will sell out to just the presale password having fans w/o havning to worry about a general sale.

Today has just been one dumb thing after another.? First off i got my pre pre sale password and got on and got my tickets right at 9:00 then it came time for my credit card information and i fucked it up than i lost my tickets.? So you all were here for today everyone was panicing about not getting tickets and i really needed them cause i have train tickets to go to new york so i resorted to bidding for two floor tickets for the 15th for 99.00 with the maximum bid for 250.00.? Than i see that there are two more shows and that would be great to be able to go to one of those, but now i have this stupid bid.? The bid has 12 more hours and i'm the only one so far.? So that means that it will probably be done at 11 am for me.? Now the presale is for tomorrow at 8am (midwestern time) and i really don't know what is going to happen to my bid.? What do you guys think i should do?? Do you think i should go for the tickets for the new shows?? I have already tried emailing this stupid guy to see if i could retract my bid and he is not responding.? I really don't know if i'm going to get it three hours later.? What do you think?

be careful dude coz you could end up payin for all the tickets.but if worst comes to worst,buy em all and sell em on here or something.sell the dearer ones (which will probebly be off ebay) for the price you had to pay for em,that way its not scalping and you aint ripping anyone off coz its the price you paid for em ?

I bought a ticket to the 17th show from stubhub for 180, in case i missed the presale. I got two tix this morning, and wondered if any body had some ideas as to what to with the extra ticket ipaid for.

I am pretty sure you can retract a bid, but only so often as an ebay member. If you can't, email the seller and see what they say.

Well i tried originally but it has to be under more than 12 hours.  I jsut hit the deadline when i recieved the email.  Do you guys also think i will be able to get tickets tomorrw?  I really hope i don't get stuck with both.  But i think there is such a demand for this show i could get somebody buy them.  I just really to go man!

The links in the email lead to a ticketmaster page that says the event no longer exists on the database. Some times I really hate the intrigue about this band. I wonder what the hell is going on, especially considering the email came from two different places.

Also, i put the two emails side by side in seperate windows, and the "posters" that have the links on them do not look exactly the same, to be honest this is fishy.

Something is fishy about these 2 new dates. i also bought a ticket from stubhub for way over value and need to figure out how to get rid of it.
