Can anyone give me a ball-park figure for the cost of parking up there?? I'd be heading up from Delaware and I guess I'd need to park somewhere.

Thanks,
Axl4Prez2004

30-40 dollars to park for the evenings in that area. You're in the same area of NYC as the garden, which is within walking distance. You could however get long term parking in NJ, right through the tunnel, which is literally blocks from hammerstein. In hoboken, nj, you'd then take the path train to 34th street. Would cost probably 25 with the train.

Thanks for the info. ?After looking at the cost of plane fares to the shows in Europe, it doesn't look so bad! ?(I'm still jealous of you Europeans though!) ?

Also, I asked my girlfriend about the shows she's been to at Hammerstein, and she said they were all GA.

If you are coming from the South, just take 95 through Jersey (Turnpike), follow to the Lincoln Tunnel. When you go through the tunnel, go to the right and park your car the first place you can. Then come out and say to anyone walking by "which way to the hammerstein" and they'll point, it's like 3 blocks away from there

Will cost about 30-40 dollars for the parking garages.

Plan for traffic on the Turnpike and a delay going through the tunnel.

If you have any other questions I'd be more than happy to help however I can. Rock on. I'm sure some people know the city better than I do, but I'll offer any info I know.

I have no idea about coming from OH. But I would imagine 80 will be involved at some point. 80 takes you to the GW Bridge, which you don't really want. What I would do, not sure if this is like the perfect way or whatever, is I would get mapquest directions to Giants Stadium in East Rutherford NJ. This way, it will direct you to Route 3 East in NJ, which goes right to the Lincoln Tunnel. If you decided to take the PATH train from Hoboken, you would want to get to Route 3 East in NJ as well, as right before the tunnel are the exits for Hoboken.

I'm not trying to be like an expert on this, but I live right outside NY, so I am somewhat familar with travelling there. But I'm sure there are others on this board who know better than I do.

Isn't there a parking garage right next to the Hammerstein? How much does it cost for a few hours?
