The Da Vinci Code release and the show are one month apart. I doubt the former will have much impact on the latter.
That being said, Paris is always pretty crowded from June onwards, so making reservations early is always a good idea.....

The news today already report the code impact and the film is not out yet.
So you can bet that it will be mutiplied as soon as the film is out.
Most people love a good " mystery" and tour ops propose the whole thing, st sulpice church, the louvres, the Ritz even ( because part of the action is IN the Ritz)...

The news in france today report that the Da vinci code attracts so many people into town that most hotels are booked weeks in advance.
EVEN PALACES LIKE THE RITZ have special " da vinci code" offers.
Meaning :
Palaces are close to being full.
Everyone make sure your bookings are done.
so even royalty are taking advantave and taking bookings
sorry had to do that i know you meant Places
No, i meant palaces, 5 star hotels and luxury hotels that do not have the " star" classification.
And royalty rarely goes to the Ritz ( mohamed al fayed being the owner), they usually go to the Plaza Athenee
( sweden does)
oh shit sorry owned

Yeah, I booked my hotel some 3-4 weeks ago. My five day trip to Paris will start with a GNR show. Can't wait
I hope Axl won't lose his voice till that
Maybe I should make my own Da Vinci Code tour for me and my gf, while we're in Paris

Hi Will!
Originally, I wanted to make this party happen before the concert because I wanted to participate in building the excitement for the other fans like me. But in the end it wasn't possible on the 16th like I wanted. So the 23th was the best night I could find to do it. Then again, I am not organizing it. I just convinced people to do it. They are used to organize underground/alternative rock parties and gothic/eletro parties, but they thought it might be a good idea. I had them test it by playing a couple of GN'R songs to the regulars of their clubs and it worked, so they decided to trust me on this one. Wich is cool, because it shows how GN'R have credibility again after all these years when people didn't want to believe in them anymore. All the true fans know what I mean: it wasn't always easy to stand up by the band during these years of silence, but I am glad I have always done it no matter what.
On the 23th, there should be different types of music played. Maybe a rock band will plau at the begining, but I don't know: it is not in my hands... What I can tell for sure is that there will be one dancefloor totally dedicated to GN'R and rock music. On the second dancefloor, apart from GN'R, they might also want to play some post-punk, 80's, dark stuff for the regulars of the club, but I am not totally sure...
Anyway, I'll send you an e-mail mainly to invite you if you want to come...
PS: I saw you helped the magazine "Rock Hard" for their article about GN'R... That's really cool! You're a true dedicated fan!

Hey, thanks
Since this trip and GN'R show is a present for my gf, I'm in charge of thinking about tours and things to do in Paris. It would be nice if I could contact you sometime before my trip and you could tell me about some nice places to see and go (the ones that most tourists don't know). Anyway, I booked our hotel in Monmarte. Not because it's cheaper, but I don't know other neighbourhoods so well and I liked it very much, when I was in Paris some 2 years ago

No problem.
By then, make sure you told me about your tastes in general so i can work something out for you two.
There may be things you won't want to see as you have no interest in them. And i'll try and find stuff that most tourists don't know about ( although paris will be crowded everywhere i'm affraid ?)
You will be in Montmartre ? Right. Oki.
if you want to contact me, no problem, but make sure we have worked it out two weeks before you get there because i have a small son and i need to plan things out.

The show is in just 7 days. The exitation starts growing, and Izzy will be there?
It will be a big show.

Hi,
I want to Watch the England v Sweden Game before going over to see GNR. Axl Probably wont come on until ten so that gives plenty of time to get there after the game, if there is a decent bar locally.
Is there anywhere near to the stadium that is good for watching Football?
Thanks
