where was this guy, I remember seeing merk just as BFMV was ending. Was these Fernando the guy Axl pointed at when singing, ummm, can't remember what song, but he was in the left box of the floor/vip section, was that him?

And dude, Darknemus, now I'm not so sure it was you I was in front of while in the line, that guy I'm talking about definitely wasn't wearing all black hihi but I was, I was also wearing this t-shirt

And I hope to God Fernando is not there, so that people can take photos and stuff without being pointed out at.

...Have I missed something?
Would you mind explaining this for me?   confused

I can see them mixing up the guitar solos for each show, but the set list will probably be the same.  Like someone else said, maybe sub out a song or two for rocket queen, think about you.

who cares, they could wear the same clothes and do the same moves and i'd be happy to see it all over again.  The 12th was such a whirlwind I feel like I missed half of it b/c I was so pumped up and excited.  There was so much going on it was tough to take it all in.

yea i hope last night was just to see if they could still hammer the 2002 songs etc,

hopfully the next couple of hammerstien shows will be experimental, estranged, coma, civial war or any old stuff we havnt heard them play

They're never going to play more uyi stuff. Most people want to hear AFD and CD, so that's what they're going to play. They're not going to play songs that everyone can't agree on. Everybody has different songs they like on uyi, so playing those songs only a quarter of people will be happy with any given song. Everyone is happy hearing WTTJ, PC, and ISE.

Ask most people on the forums (alot of who are going to the shows) and they'll probably say they would rather here some more Illusion stuff then Appetite.

I highly doubt that they will bring in any more illusion songs. Axl has not spoken highly of those albums in recent interviews, so I think we can scratch off any "new" illusion material.

I could see them switching the lineup of the songs, but I doubt we will get anything too drastically different.

Enjoy the show everyone, pics of the band if its possible!! Especially everyones new favorite Robin Finck

The Sunday 14th Show, should be happening at about 2:22 UK time thus making it Monday. Anyway, the band should hit the stage in about 7 hours time...

It's a lot harder to alternate songs day in and day out nowadays with a big production. Lights are triggered at certain times during a song, same with pyro, it's a lot more complex now then back in the day when a guy just sat by a panel and flipped a few switches. I can see them playing Rocket Queen, but don't hold your breath for any other song that they've never played before.
