Firstly sorry if this is a Dead Horse Question i did search and couldnt find a topic on it

Do you think the leaks had an effect on what song were played at the shows so basically if them songs were not leaked would we of heard some of the other songs instead like say This i Love Seven or The General for example

I still like to think that axl/management were behind the leaks as a test board but what are your opinons

I think they were very much behind those leaks.? Funny that the exact songs that "leaked" are the feature Chinese Democracy material on the set list aside from CD, Madagascar, and The Blues which have been played live since 2001.

Yeah, I don't think if they were leaked seperately, Axl would have let it influence the setlist. Axl doesn't like to be influenced by outside forces. I still think he will introduce one more new tune at Rock In Rio in front of a live audience. I'm also hoping for Brian May to appear at the Dublin gig and play Catcher In The Rye.

The leaks must have been intentional.

For a band that claims to have 3 albums worth of music, they sure don't play much of it  hihi

anythinggoes.. good post.. I think if the leaks had not been put out there.. we may have heard different songs played.. I think now they have to play the leaked songs as (assuming they will be on the CD) if they played other stuff, there wouldn't be anything left to surprise.

I think Axl is smart enough to realize, whether he's behind the leaks or not, that there's no point in this day and age trying to hide them. If they're on the internet, you can't shut them down and he seems to be like "Can't stop em', join em'"

He knows people downloaded them, he saw us singing along Friday night at Hammerstein and asked "How do you guys know all the lyrics to these new songs? You guys are some downloading motherfuckers"

At this point, he might as well go with the flow. But I do believe that if those songs like Better and IRS weren't leaked, there might be different songs played at these warm up shows

Yea he also laughed and then smiled after he said that which leads me to think that he leaked them himself.

Who the fuck knows.  Was it management?  Bucket?  a disgruntled technician?  a disgruntled former employee?  the janitor?  I don't know, you don't know...perhaps we'll find out some day...perhaps management gave it to some friends who management thought would do something like this to stir up interest?   Huh

NO, Nor Axl nor the band had anything to do with the leaks!
