Don't worry about it man you'll still hear the band if people are singing! As was said before you probably won't even hear yourself sing never mind anyone else.
I hope everyone headin out to the next few shows will have fun.
And, I can't stop anyone, but chanting Weiland sucks would just be shitty, if anyone here heard about someone chanting Axl sucks at a VR concert they would be bounding down on him calling him an asshole and a prick and all sorts of other stuff. You're going there to enjoy a GnR concert not a Scott Weiland bashing festival.

Please dont sing along.? Sing in your car and your shower, but Axl has enough mic problems as is and people are going to the concert/bling them and people dont want to hear your idiotic drunken renditions of November Rain.? Im going to the last show and if I cant hear Axl singing cause drunken idiots are singing the wrong lyrics to Patience im going to be furious.
That's a lot to ask. People go to concerts to have a good time and sing along to the songs. Besides, you'll still be able to hear Axl above everyone elses singing.

What an ass..
I am driving from Boston, sleeping in my car just to see Axl and I am not suppose to sing along, or have a great time because this douche wants to see a symphony?? I spent loads of cash on my ticket, that's right 1 fucking ticket cuase it is in the middle of the week and no one can go with me, yet this ass wants everyone to be silent so he can enjoy the show.... do us a faovr rip your ticket and stay home and enjoy the Tokoyo DVD's....
Are we going to a Guns N Roses concert or a funeral?
grow up

though i will admit they have to turn axls mic up a little bit because he was drown by the band on a few songs, but the band is what made him hard to hear, not the people around me. so it was just a bad mix. or is it the acoustics in the hammerstien? ive only been there for the guns show, anyone know how sound is in that building?
You would think they would do a sound check before the show. After, the band and Axl were in NYC days before the actual concert.

if u want quality watch a pro shot dvd
ive been to a few shows that were really good quality, when i saw gnr in 93 they had the worse sound.

About the singing on the concert, besides the music, the most beautiful thing you can hear is the people singing along to any song... I'm sure Axl loves to hear people loud, he has said it before.
If the soundboard boot comes out you'll "see" it's fun to hear the crowd too.

Axl has mic problems? Not on friday he didn't. Furthermore, first Guns show in 3 years and you want people not to sing?! Sounds more like you're looking for a good bootleg recording of the show. I'm going tonight again to Hammerstein, and I hope whoever you are I sit next to you cuz I'm gonna sing loud as a motherfucker tonight just for you baby!!!

have a good night!
You forgot, in bed by 11PM!
People will sing at shows, and it's not like this is some quiet acoustic show where your singing might be easy to make out....
Sing, have a good time, don't be an asshole and watch out for the people around you.

it's a rock concert! of course people are gonna sing along.
still yeah, it's annoying on the bootlegs
but believe me, you will hear Axl better than the 2000 drunk people singing along!

I thought Axl's volume went up as the evening progressed, but the crowd was so loud it was hard to hear at times. But he was amazing, he is a great performer.

Exactly. People like that ruin the fun for all the rest. It?s because of them that the country is going down the toilet!!
There?s nothing worst for a performer than people getting into it and singing along.
