I have yet to even listen to them but are they really that bad???  Axl hasn't picked a very strong opening band yet.  The worst thing I ever saw live was Mixmaster Mike.  God it sucked.  At least GNR came out though.  Think of the people that had to sit through Mixmaster Mike and then afterwards found out Axl wasn't coming.  No wonder there were riots.

I dont think Axl picked these guys...

Pretty sure they're simply managed by Sanctuary just like Gn'R...

What Axl should do is have Tommy open their shows with his solo stuff, or some Mats material... ok

I wish I could giv e a setlist, just the music was so horrible live it was so uninteresting.. The drummer was so loud it felt like he pierced your heart each time.. The sing was awfull to, it was like speeed metal or death metal at times, just pounding instruments with no flow..

you couldn't be more wrong, i think axl saw him in a movie about hiphop or something and then went to a show and was impressed so he got him to be opener for the tour.

My exact thoughts, though I wouldnt insult My Chemical Romance like that, they actually have some decent songs.

I would absolutely love to see a band like Silvertide, Interpol, The Distillers or even Buckcherry open for GNR.

I dont think any amount of studio polishing, or vocal overdubs could make this band sound appealing to even the most open minded of ears... Lips Sealed

Am I the only one who actually like their album?

Can't say how they are live, but I really enjoy listening to their album called The Poison.

Maybe you should listen to their album and give them another chance. I've done it once and I've never regretted it. Saw Murderdolls open for Iron Maiden in Stockholm and thought that they were awful. Booed them off the stage and promised myself that I'd never listen to them again.

A couple of months after the concert I downloaded some of their songs and BOOM! - couldn't believe it was the same band I saw at the concert before. Loved it straight away!

So, never write bands off before you've given them a fair chance. Smiley

If you don't like that kind of music, fair enough Smiley

Sorry, I didnt mean to scream so loud Grin

I didnt mind the music too much, but you couldnt hear the singer too well unless he was screaming. The bassist was "singing" as well but it sounded like he was just clearing his throat all night. They actually sounded a little better the last night when the guitar tech was filling in for the bassist.

We were trying to piss them off the first two nights. I got a few people around me to wave their lighters, or wave our arms back in forth in the cheesy 90's ballad style, while they were screaming all these songs about death hihi

Yeah, I know what you mean. Some bands suck live but make great studio material and vice versa. Then we've got those who suck at both Wink

I dont remember the order they were played, and I'm sure this isn't all but looking at Amazon.com these are the song titles I recognize:
Four Words To Choke Upon
Tears Dont Fall
Suffocating Under Words Of Sorrow
All These Things I Hate
The End

You could check BFMV's site for that info if no-one gives an answer here. I think they have a message board there aswell Smiley
