it`s definitely cool that richard gets to play more and more solos in the songs. i always looked forward to hearing more of his contributions. it`ll be really interesting to find out what he`s cabable of doing beer

I think the point was to say that Slash is the gnr guitarist. There will never be a person who can be what Slash was, and in many ways, still is. Not many say he's the best, but his soul is a bigger part of gnr than any new guitarist can hope to be.

I agree. For a lot of fans GnR will only ever have one true lead axe man.. Slash. But I just hope this new guy fits in with the band and with Axl. I hope he can play the old songs and I hope he will want to and enjoy playing them. That's all that I want from the new guy. Slash is far from the best ever but he was the best for GnR.. Maybe this new guy will out shine Slash.. maybe not. Hopefully he brings skill and emotion to the band.

I know what you mean guys... there are, of course better ones than Slash, but u know... lol I can?t give up saying that he was the guy (those solos, oh god!), the GN?R one and no1 will forget him and of course replace him. But yeah, we gotta move on, let?s give this new guy a chance!! I can?t wait to see him in RiR beer

yeah...  if not a new shredder, a new rythm guy was needed. there are parts on the new songs that include 3 guitars...
