I'm not very familiar with his playing, but from what I've read, he's a virtuoso shredder like Buckethead. Hopefully he plays with some more emotion on stage though.

Wow...yes ! Ron Thal is amazing and a very nice guy.
He is not only a guitar wizard he also can sing. Listen to his album "Uncool", he sounds like Mike Patton
of Faith No More - brilliant !
IMO Best choice of Axl for the new guitar player.

FANTASTIC!! Definately my favorite (after Bucket of course  ) of them all. I thought after the Fortus email (which was real or not, who cares at this point anyway ) that it might be him (BF) when he also had his other shows postponed. Really really talented guy who has the capability (and hopefully also commitment, which Bucket probably didn't) to take the GN'R to the next level and to the 21st century. |

Definately the right man to take GN'R to next level (or keep it at Bucket's level  ). I learned to love Bucket but Bumblefoot is more than capable to fill his shoes and some more. "Duff, Slash, etc." is SO 80s!!  |
