Sweet child of mine was my favorite when i first got into GNR when i was bout 6...
you cant beat the end of november rain.....

"Sweet Child O' Mine" is not just my favourite Guns N' Roses song, it's my favourite song. It's one of the few that doesn't lose its lustre over time. Now, it still packs as much of a punch as it ever has, from Slash's siren guitar riffs to Axl's crooning wails. And I don't usually notice basslines in songs, but I notice Duff's here. Hell, all the bandmembers are in fine form here. This song reveals Guns N' Roses pop sense and the songwriting smarts that forever set them apart from the cheesy throwaway metal bands of their era. But the beauty about GNR is that all their songs are great. They have a song for every mood. By the way, I think that "Back Off Bitch" is WAY underrated. It's one of the best songs on the Use Your Illusion albums. |
