I guess what mysteron said about Sanctuary trying to stop GH didn't work.

Mysteron- what going to happen now? Do you have an update of the direction GNR will go now? Will this now delay once again CDs release?

Thanks for the pics! Cheesy

Looks like this album is promoted a lot more than Live Era was.

Ads in magazines, tv, that one in London....

Plus all the publicity it got from the protests.  hihi

/jarmo

And I heard an ad for greatest hits on u.k. radio today (personally i didn't hear any ads for live era), didn't catch the station but it was exciting just to hear GNR on the radio again. Then they played Knockin' on Heaven's Doos, bonus!

It wouldn't surprise me if that Croatian Cd is fake, I'm Serbian, and from visiting there often, it's nothing new. That area of europe seems to have a fake version of every CD before it's out.  Roll Eyes

Btw. Ain't It Fun is censored. No "cunt"

Bought myself a copy two hours ago. Sort of disappointing package but still it was very nice to and buy a new GNR product. It's almost like a habit already... first it was 1993, then again in 1999 and yet again in 2004.

Everything is like #dAMIr says, and mine isn't fake. The only new thing really is the wrong spelling in Appetite and the missing "cunt" in Ain't It Fun. Funny how there still is "Yep, we're fucked" in Since I Don't Have You, though. They couldn't even censor it right!

Um....

How the FUCK do you mispell "Appetite?"

The only reason the word "cunt" has been censored, is because it is the one word that best describes the motherfucker who thought this release was a good idea.

And the disrespect for GNR continues.

First the release of the steaming piles of shit DVDs. Now this.

Next week Gn'R are on the front cover of Kerrang (the old band) with an article "Gn'R - where did it all go wrong?" - thats pretty good promotion for the Greatest Hits.

Here's what the GH thing looks like. We've seen the cover and the back so I didn't include them. But here's the third part of the front face of the digipak, and the inside of it. There's also a close-up of the "Appetitie".

Don't mind the cat hairs in these scans.

seems as if the greatest hits is getting much better promotion than even the tour. Maybe they are starting the full court press promotion for cd now?

Maybe your part of Europe my friend...

My part of Europe is the UK. I have been to Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia, Hungary, slovenia, and in all those countries you can find fake cds everywhere.

Not in my part of europe, your part of europe.  Wink

Don't know if anyone's already said this, but I saw an ad for the CD on TV (England) this evening, which kinda shocked me, as...welll...Guns N' Roses on tv...

Why does everyone look up to Mysteron so much?  He probaly doesn't know shit.  He probaly knows just some dumb shit at a radio station that doesn't know shit either exept for rumours.

haha - how many times can you use the word shit in 1 sentence  Roll Eyes

I believe Mysteron has gained some amount of trust on this board.  His updates make no sense to me, but he doesnt appear to be someone who spreads shitty rumors.

Man, I have never seen fake CD in my life. I buy CDs in CDstores, not on markets.
The countries you mentioned aren't on the same, how do you say it... degree of development.

What does the actual disc look like?

It looks like this. Click here!

The rainbow effect in the picture comes from the scanner and it's not on the disc. It's plain silver with those "scratches".

Do you actually read what I'm saying?

1). I didn't say you had seen a fake album or bought one. I'm not talking bout what you've done.  Roll Eyes
2). I said you can get fake CDs there, and you more or less confirmed it by your comments about markets, so it's possible to get one.
3). I have bought a fake CD in Croatia. What more do I have to do to tell you they exist?  Roll Eyes
