I guess it varies from where you live... It 'll be released in Ireland tomorrow (friday) according to snakepit.org (news section). Universal still lists: "Release Date: Mar 23, 2004".

It's definitely released in Ireland tomorrow (friday). Go to www.goldendiscs.ie and look at the new releases section at the bottom of the page. Then click on the GH cover.

I might pick it up 2moro or saturday and see for sure if its remastered!

So, I bought it on tuesday in Zagreb, but I didn't take my discman there, so I couldn't listen to it. It was kinda strange, just looking at it, and not being able to hear neither one song.

I was listening to it a bit about 3 hours ago for the first time. Some people were saying about remastered tracks, but I can't hear any difference except MAYBE the volume is higher. Much likely it isn't.

It's in that cardbord, paper shit. And...
there is no booklet.
I was hoping for fancy booklet with pictures, band history and lyrics but no...
Live ERA had a great one.
Inside there is a grey picture of Axl and Slash when they were still capable of hugging each other. And then, there is a list of songs+from which album are they+lineup.
And who wrote songs.

CD itself is silver with some lines like it's scrached. Behind CD is a picture of a band (original lineup of course) standing behind AFD logo.

There are also little pictures of GNR albums and then comes another shit.
AFD is written incorect. It says "AppetitIe". with one extra "I".

In general, GNR deserves much better Greatest Hits than this. And it's not just because of  bad tracklist.

And yes, there isn't any Chinese Democracy info. (Some people were hoping for that. In the future let's just hope they spell album titles right.)

That's what I thought when I heard the sampler CD : no remastering , so no surprise for me

The spelling mistake really sucks    Are all the people working at Geffen illiterate or what? They could at least put a minimum effort into it

Well...... that was anticlimatic, oh well. You'd think a booklet would be standard issue, bastards.

On the promotional note, I can't believe the amount of advertising I'm seeing. TV ad during Champions League game prime time, full page ad in Kerrang and other magazines.

Kerrang are running a huge story on GNR in next weeks issue in the UK to correspond with GH, with full cover picture of the old band aswell as GNR week on Kerrang TV. I can't remember the last time i saw them on the front of Kerrang!

If any of this GH bullshit is to do with raising awareness of GNR again before CD, then they're doing a good job!

yeah, that's true. It's a fake. I mean an standard real album has always a booklet and not any grammer faults like "AppetitIe".

I think this is a hell of a lot of promotion. Go to http://www.nme.com/features/107805.htm to win the entire Guns N' Roses CD and DVD back catalogue in celebration!  

It wouldn't surprise me if that Croatian Cd is fake, I'm Serbian, and from visiting there often, it's nothing new. That area of europe seems to have a fake version of every CD before it's out.
