Former GN'R guitar maestro Slash may end up back in the band as well, but probably not before the Hammerstein shows.


aww man, like we?re here trying to accept that Slash or any other old member will return and they keep saying things like that. This is how we keep talking about it man, we?re trying to focus on the new band, althogh we would love to see them all together again, and then CNN goes and says things like this lol, c?mon! no

Yeah, what the hell was that at the end? Not necessary at all, the article was fine up until that point. In the Eddie Trunk interview, I don't remember hearing Axl say Slash may rejoin down the road

i actually enjoyed the article until the slash comment came... seems this bullshit will haunt the band for a long time. sad. anyway, a cnn article is good publicity. props on this.

You know whats funny??? I mentioned in a different thread that if the CD came out it would make CNN and got BASHED by a ton of people about how I live in a fantasy world.


Hmmm......seems Axl just speaking on radio in the middle of the night makes CNN.....guess I was wrong huh?

Searched using "CNN Axl Release Date" and the closest thing I could find was pasnow's quote in the RHCP thread.  It was close, but not quite the definitive quote I remember......which is why I posted here. Smiley

I know for sure it was in the one with Red Hot Chili Peppers in the title. I'm at work right now but I'll search for it later and give ya the link if you haven't found it yet. I know it was three or four people telling me how stupid I was for thinking it would make CNN though.
