? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? I just don't see it happening since Buckethead's time in the Band really was short lived and his stay really didn't see him on the mainstream media much in 2002. So I can see more fans chanting " Slash " than Buckethead. Both guys I thought were good and I do miss Buckethead because he added a whole atmosphere to this Band.

? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ?Also I really don't care that its the New Guns n Roses. Time changed and the old band sadly is gone. We have this new band and I really will give them a chance. My friends aren't as big fans but after I played them some of the demo's that leaked they agreed.... " Thats cool if it is Axl and the new Band " . Thats all you can do. Kiss has changed members so it happens.

regardless what the fans scream ... Buckethead and Herbie have kept their silence about Axl and GNR and havent badmouthed them one bit ... Axl really hasnt been too negative either which is cool (unlike tommy) ... I just hope that Axl can stay cool on this matter and not use Bucket as a starting point for his onstage rants.

Whatever happened there , drop it and move on .. Buckethead obviously has. Ya know?

Well, I wouldn't be surprised if Axl went off on Bucket onstage.  But, I hope he doesn't because it would be classier if he didn't, and it would likely piss Brain off.  On another note, I don't understand why Tommy takes every chance to slam Bucket.  Bucket must have really rubbed Tommy the wrong way because he's seems like such a cool guy otherwise.

Ali

I don't want to get into BucketBashing but I personally can understand why anyone would bash on Bucket. Having said that, I don't think Axl will at all. He seemed really pleasent on Eddie Trunk about it. When he was saying "Bucket's Bucket....he's on the same trip he's always been on" or something like that.

axl should have no bitch about bh, the man has remained quiet about eevrything and did what he had to do, not everyone wants to waste their time waiting forever.. I'm glad for himself he had the balls to leave on his terms and not have to sit on his material the rest of his life.. The guy came to play and then they sat... Good luck to him elsewhere

I disagree on alot of those points, but I think you made an incidental joke in saying that Bucket stayed quiet about everything. What was he gonna do? Have his puppet or severed head tell us all the secrets?

herbie can speak hihi When I hear dizzy talking about re doing parts for 4-6 times, and him being so talented with no say it may have been a big factor, also having to share lead with semi butchers could have been a factor as well..

Oh Yeah, no doubt they've done WAYYYYYYYY more quantity wise... but NOTHING has even came close to living up to what Guns N Roses used to be.... and NOTHING they have done will live up to what the new Guns N Roses will be...

Pretty big assumptions but whatever....I think It's five O'Clock somewhere, Izzy and the Ju-ju hounds and Pawnshop Guitars were all wicked albums....not GnR material but good none the less....VR...I love VR they are great.

Back on topic: No i don't think there will be anyone saying "Where's Bucketheeeaaaddd!!!" You may here a few "Where's Slash?!" though peace

seriously...think about it.  What would happen if, instead of introducing "Buckethead," Axl introduced Brian Carroll!

He said there'd be no Bucket...what if Brian dropped the schtick and became himself for GNR???

Just a thought from Axl4Prez2004.  I definitely don't think it'll happen though.   Cheesy

I'm sure whoever the 3rd guitarist will be great and I am excited to see whoever it is.

However, I have to admit, being from Indiana myself (near Lafayette)...the idea of Axl and Izzy on stage together would kick ass.  I really think the chance of this is less than 1%
But, a guitar team of Fortus, Fink, and Izzy would be fine by me

The unfortunate thing about Buckethead leaving is an absence of the most talented musician this band has ever had.

IMO, no Buckethead is far worse than no Slash, Duff, ect.

I just watched his solo from Boston - he is an incredible musician.  However, anyone that has been in a band knows that talent cannot compensate for lacking acceptable personality.  A true asset to a band is someone that can associate and collaberate - having only one of those qualities is insufficient.

I have to agree with you on this one. Bh was very professional about his time in GnR', and although he never really seemed to fit in with GnR', somehow I think he contributed a lot more than we think. I guess we'll eventually find out.

You are not a Guns N' Roses fan.
You are an Axl and Friends fan. Anyone who wouldn't want a reunion is not a Guns N' Roses fan.

Hell the band your a fan of hasn't even put out any material.

I still don't understand why people yell "Where is Slash?" or "Where is Bucket?"  What are they expecting Axl to say... "Uh they quit... Now let me stop the show and explain what they are working on now elsewhere"  Why would Axl care where they are now?  I hope no one yells these questions, it would just show the stupidity of some people.

I don't agree with it, but that's me but I can understand someone being let down that they are at a gnr show and only axl is there.. If you loved gnr your whole life it is kind of disappointing. I'm not talking about forum gnr fans that might be more pro axl or on top of every detail... I know the famous line is it was ten years ago, or how could you not know.. Well I grew up on a lot of rock music bands I have multiple albums of, but couldn't tell you who's in the band or not just because they aren't my favs anymore.. This is not to say if I was offered a ticket I wouldn't go, or if they went on sale I wouldn't kind of impulse but..... Some people loved afd or the illusions but haven't followed since, so they might see gnr is back and think reunion or be unsure about who's in the band, or just hear gnr and automatically assume the lineup..

I own every gnr album there is and none of those albums consist of 5 out of those 7-8 people in the band.. So if I happen to be a fan just throwing my illusions and afd back on and see gnr tickets onsale I might not know... For everyone that knows ,another doesn't.. It's not like gnr are at the same popularity as they once were, things went down more in private then on a highly public scale.. Not everyone visits rock sites qnd follows music outside of listening to albums...

On the all the albums the ex members have done since leaving gnr being average, I say like myself all of you haven't even heard them all.. It's such a cliche to say oh without axl this or without axl that or the material is average or mediocre.. People are haters when it comes to anything non gnr.... I'm sure everyone has all of duff's albums, all of izzy's, gilby's work  Roll Eyes.. Alone slash's work with snakepit, and all his other solos with blackstreet or his work on street child is enough to know the man has done really good solos post gnr.. Everyone hates on anyone who says a negative thing about axl as an artist -you people know the long list-  So it's just the forum ways to say oh axl is the only one that can make good music and everyone else releases crap... I will always say bulshit because some of you saying it's average don't own shit..  yes I know you are the exceptions hihi
