 peace

As far as I know they've only played "The Other New Song" which they played last year. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Thats what I thought but someone one here said is was a Brand new song coz the review said it was the 1st time they had played it. So im not sure if its the other new song or the brand new song

From the reviews I've read more like 65 - 70k

Metallica singer stopped at airport for 'Taliban' beard

Metallica frontman James Hetfield was stopped by security officials at London's Luton Airport for allegedly having a "Taliban-like" beard.

The band was on its way to perform at Live Earth on Saturday (July 7).

Hetfield was briefly questioned by airport officials until they realised who he was. No explanation was given for why he was stopped, but his bandmates speculated that it was due to his beard.

Meanwhile, Metallica's new album is due out in early 2008, with bassist Robertt Trujillo telling Blabbermouth: "There's a lot of everything, man. There's speed on this. There's a couple of tracks where you're gonna go, 'Wow!' and I know you're gonna like it because it has the flavor of the old. But it has this kind of groove and power behind it that I think is us today."

Thats pretty funny. Poor Bastard.

His beard is nothing like a taliban beard.

Honestly, I prefer the straightforward bluesy rock of Load/Reload to the trash sounding early albums.

Metallia have been playing some great setlists on their Sick Of The Studio tour, but I thought they'd be debuting some new songs live?

There's been all this talk about Rick Rubin trying to get them in the same mindset as when they recorded Master Of Puppets, so I guess they want to keep a lid on the new stuff until the album comes out, to keep the mystery about it.

Yeah, but apparently those songs have either been scrapped or re-worked into other songs, going by what Rob said in a recent interview.
