Most people call me a loonie when i say that Load was my favorite album
I love all the other albums, especially the older ones, but i really do like load... Most people laugh and say its their worst effort.. but oh well, to each his own right. On that note, i dont like anything they've done recently. Never got with the St. Anger album at all... S&M was pretty kick ass however.

Load and ...And Justice for all are my 2 fav albums. Closley followed but Master. SA was awesome. It was different to anything else they had ever done but still close to the old stuff.
The 2 new songs a pretty good. New song #1 is the best so far.
What do u dudes think of the new shit?

Yes i like the new song # 1 but ive only heard live and need to hear it on the album.
The best albums (in my opinion) are Killem All, Ride The Lightening and Master of Puppets. Dam i remember buying Killiem al on vinyl when it came out and seeing Cliff burton play was amazing.

Im not a super huge metallica fan but even a casual fan knows that load, reload and st. anger are all 100 percent certified crap. Especially St Anger....my god that has got to be one of the worst metal albums of all time. People should really get off GNR's back for not releasing a record of new material since 91 because in reality metallica hasn't either. Hopefully on there next record they will get back to the basics of what made them one of the greatest metal bands of all time.

for some reason i have a good feeling about this new album. i mean they finally got rid of bob rock....
the 80's stuff was just so spectacular, i'll never lose hope that they'll get their shit together. i don't hate the post-black stuff (although i really don't like st. anger that much), i just dont listen to Load/ReLoad that much? and i feel they are capable of much better.
i know its become sooo cliched to say that their recent output sucks but i really do feel that there was drop off in quality and musicall integrity since ...And Justice For All. thats just my two cents.

the memory remains
the unforgiven II

Mine would look something like this.
01. Seek & Destroy
02. Ride the Lightning
03. For Whom the Bell Tolls
04. Creeping Death
05. Master of the Puppets
06. Welcome Home (Sanitarium)
07. Disposable Heroes
08. ...And Justice For All
09. One
10. Harvester of Sorrow
11. Enter Sandman
12. Sad But True
13. The Unforgiven
14. Nothing Else Matters
15. King Nothing
16. Fuel
17. The Unforgiven II
18. Whiskey In The Jar
The problem is I don't know if it will fit on 2 discs.

I think a band of Metallica's caliber would have to have a box-set.
