This is the next logical step in a process that began back in 1991 when we first implemented the "Taper Section" at our shows, where our fans were encouraged to bring in their own gear to record the show, and then take home their very own "bootleg" of the concert they had just seen. This technology will enable our fans to get the best possible recording of the show, without having to hold a microphone in the air for the entire night!

A little hypocritical no?

Indeed! But then they did pay to go to the show, so its not like they are being charitable!

You and everyone else on this board...

I still stand by my opinion of St. Anger, while it's not Metallica's best, it has some great songs on there. Anyway, it'll be interesting to see what direction Metallica take with the new album.

I hope they use more instruments, cause they have worn off the potential of their 5 instruments.

I think with a tuned snare drum and Guitar Solos back in Metallica the 5 instruments they play will be just fine.

What do you Tallifans think of Load/Reload?

Personally(keep in mind i'm not a huge metal fan) i enjoy those two albums the best.

I think Load is a great album with some of the band's strongest songs, Outlaw Torn, Bleeding Me being my favs. Reload is ok, but Load is the better of the two.

I think Load is a pretty good album.  It gets a lot of shit, but its still good stuff.  I don't have Reload, so I can't comment on that one.  The problem with Load is its just not anywhere near as good as the first 4 albums.  If it wasn't Metallica I'd probably like it a lot more.  But it is, so I hold it to a much higher standard than I do most albums.
