i cant get it because its in the depths of the lofy (the place under the roof) with the other heaps of vinyl records.

Hes got rare shit man.....real rare. He once had the orginal sec pistols album on vinyl which didnt have that submission track. But when he was younger he destoryed it he said by accident. Then after that there was only the re-issues.

In my humble opinion - the original doesn't sound very good - the bass is far too low in the mix, it just doesn't have that kick - but the reissue makes it all right and tweaks a few of the bits that were in need of work - the demon voice for instance. If only all remastered albums were improved as much!

Metallica's ...and justice for all needs the same treatment - increase the bass on that and i'm sure u'd have an awesome album

Well Megadeth and Metallica are interwoven so on a technicality we can merge the too

Im surprised so many Megadeth fans liked the System has failed, not because its not good (its awesome after all ) but Megadeth fans usually give the band such a hard time - its good to see that overall most people loved it

Don't listen to the man - he's ended Megadeth twice in the last 3 years and yet they are still touring and releasing albums - Dave's abit temperamental to say the least!

One explanation I've heard is that when Jason was brought in to replace Cliff the band was very hard on him as part of his initiation or whatever.  And the whole no bass thing was just another way the band kinda busted his balls.  Seems kinda counter-productive if that's the actual explanation.  But of course this is the same band that released St. Anger...and it don't get any more counter-productive than that piece of shit.

I also read that Jason's bass frequencies were almost exactly like the riffs of the guitars and that's why they were lost in the mix.

As for St. Anger, my opinion still stands that it's a great record, definetely not on par with Puppets, but a great record still.
