I love Battery and Master Of Puppets, Santiarium, One etc etc etc but I have been listening to "Creeping Death" which is a hardcore staple and for me, I like everything off DM better than it.
Same with a lot of those songs.

Is that because I am crazy? or just cause I had no previous emotional attachments to the other albums?
no youre not crazy..it is a solid album...but as a lifelong Metallica fan I would have to say that it is their 5th best album, behind Kill em All, Lightning, Puppets and the Black album...it DESTROYS the alt rock Load garbage and that piece of shit Slipknot tribute album "St Anger."

I love Master of Puppets and Kill Em All on the others I like parts of the albums. They're a great band though, especially live.

It's a fucking rectangle on the fucking floor. There are four sides to a fucking rectangle. It's one big fucking pit around the stage, no barriers or anything like that.
They hit the stage at around nine fucking fifteen. We had two fucking opening bands, I don't know how many the fuck you'll get.
If you bought your ticket through the fan club, you're all fucking set to have a good spot. There are eight microphones for James on the stage.

uitar Hero . . . The Songs
1/23/2009
[ back ]
Another piece of the Guitar Hero puzzle . . . the track listing! In case you're just tuning in now, the all 'Tallica Guitar Hero will be hitting the streets on March 29 with some really cool features like different classic venues such as the L.A. Forum, Tushino Airfield, and The Hammersmith Odeon, the ability to play as us or in single instrument mode, and even the Expert+ setting with double bass drum kick pedals.
So without further ado, here are the songs on the game . . . both from us and from some of the bands we admire and even call friends:
Metallica Tracks
All Nightmare Long
Battery
Creeping Death
Disposable Heroes
Dyers Eve
Enter Sandman
Fade To Black
Fight Fire With Fire
For Whom The Bell Tolls
Frantic
Fuel
Hit The Lights
King Nothing
Master of Puppets
Mercyful Fate (Medley)
No Leaf Clover
Nothing Else Matters
One
Orion
Sad But True
Seek And Destroy
The Memory Remains
The Shortest Straw
The Thing That Should Not Be
The Unforgiven
Welcome Home (Sanitarium)
Wherever I May Roam
Whiplash
If you downloaded the "Death Magnetic" album for Xbox and PS3, those ten songs will play in their entirety in the full game mode. PS2 and Wii versions (coming in the Spring, most likely in early May) will include "Broken Beat & Scarred," "Cyanide" and "My Apocalypse" since they are not compatible with the Death Magnetic downloadable content.

yeah if you consider nothing else matters a ballad.
what else would you call it?
i would say it's a metal ballad.
what's metal about it? more then metallica being a metal band..
