The End Of The Line is already one of my Favorite Metallica Songs ever. That song fucking ROCKS and Grooves.

Broken,Beat and Scarred also is awesome.

Im not a big fan of instrumentals and the song "All Nightmare Long" is sort of filler and corny

Rest of the album is fucking amazing

This was your life, End of the line, Broken, Beat and Scarred, Cyanide, The Day That Never Comes, Unforgiven III and Judas Kiss are just amazing songs.

I agree Broken, Beat and Scarred is great, but I absolutely love All Nightmare Long, it has such an awesome groove to it. The main riff that kicks in when James yells "one, two!!" is killer. I'm surprised you consider it filler, to me it's one of the best.

Its one of those that will grow on me I am sure, and in a week or so I'll feel dumb for having said that.

The guitar riff and all that is amazing, just the chorus, I'll hunt u down all nightmare long........ Its gotta grow on me.

I've heard the album a few times and the only two songs I like are 'End of The Line' and 'Unforgiven III'. The remaining well... sound all the same. After you listen to the whole album, all the songs just blend into one whole mass of distortion and drums... and the solos are horrible. But I guess we should be glad there are solos.

How?

I went to Hot Topic, picked up the CD and the T-shirt, I walked up to the register and I exchanged a few pleasantries with the cashier.

She rang up my items and gave me a total.  I gladly handed her my money and she gave me a receipt.  We bid each other farewell and I went on with my day.

(There's a special Metallica shipper right up front when you walk into the store.  You'll know what to do.)

Album is really cool, Lars drumming it's outstanding as usual, Kirk also shined on this album, the best track in my op. is "Suicide & redemption" this was a HUGE surprise for me, a nice surprise of course.
Also I loved Cyanide, I think the Unforgiven III should'nt have named that. It's an ok song but doesnt do much in me, great piano intro tho.

Metallica baby!  beer

Yes, Unforgiven III is a grower.

when u first hear it, its underwhelming cause of the title and the slowness/mellowness of it.

Once u connect with the message and what it is saying though, u will be 100 percent hooked.

I've been wearing out the first half of the CD so far, I gotta move on to the 2nd half soon.

End of the line and Broken Beat and Scarred though. Damn those songs are amazing.

I've listened to it a few times--it's pretty good. Not really a huge Metallica fan--but I think if you liked AJFA/The Black album you will like this too.

I bought this album last night after a funeral visitation and have been rockin to to it since then... I think this shits great.. F all the haters.. this is a damn good album, the WHOLE way through... yeah, there are parts where it lags, but i think thats mainly due to the lack of familararity to it.. its growin on me as each listen passes... Fuckin Rock ON!
