why don't u like when people say tallica?

that is pretty much like telling a Guns N' Roses fan not to call them GNR or Guns

it's a wellrecognized nickname for the band

I like how it seems Metallica have made Bob Rock the scapegoat for St. Anger.  I think they should take responsibility.

Yeah, especially since if I remember correctly, it was their idea to have horrible sounding production and no solos, not Bob Rock's.

lamb of god are one of the best metal bands out there. their live shows are killer!! i've seen them several times and it gets better and better every time.

that's an incredible bill - metallica/LOG. metallica/down is awesome too. kinda disappointed the east coast is getting machine head.

Yeah, vocalists who sound like a fast moving hurricane are fantastic!

GRGARFGROARbloooooooooooowRARARAGHAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!

you're obviously not familiar with down. their vocalist is one of the greatest metal frontmen of all time. nothing like what you describe.

and LOG's lead singer does have a different sounding voice, but you can understand his lyrics. not like a death metal band or anything, which seems like what you are describing.

Phil probably is THE greatest metal frontman of all time.

The production was pretty bad I give u that, but at the end of the day, the songs sounded uninspired.

Watching Some Kind of Monster, its obvious they were not in the right mind set to record a CD.

It's sounded a bit similar to the music on Master of Puppets.

Berlin . . . London . . . More Info
8/18/2008

A few more tidbits about the upcoming events in Berlin and London

Greetings on a Monday evening.  A few weeks back we told you about two events coming up on September 12 in Berlin, Germany, and September 15 in London, England to celebrate the release of a certain record.  Time for more details!

First off, how about a location?  The fabulous 02 World in Berlin and 02 in London will be the sites of our little bashes . . . and we're really excited that in Berlin this will be the very first event at the brand new arena.  As we mentioned before, we want to hang with some of our closest friends from the Fan Club and Mission Metallica, so tickets will only be available to those of you registered on the sites.  More details on how to get those tickets and when they go on sale will be posted later this week.

Because this is a celebration, tickets prices will be, shall we say, ?retro??  Only ten Euros for Berlin, five pounds in London!  And the best part is that all the proceeds from the sale of tickets will be donated to local charities.  We want everyone to have a chance to join us, so there will be a two ticket limit per member, and you will only be able to pick up your tickets at the box office on the day of the show.

Check back here for dates and times for the ticket sales, and in general more information at the end of this week
